This is a battle we've been wanting to see for three years. We all know that Justin Bieber and One Direction can coexist in the same mainframe. On November 13, the ultimate battle will commence: Believers vs. Directioners.

Both acts have a reputation to uphold in the US. Both act have had all of their full-length albums reach #1 on the Billbpard 200. Here's the trick: it's pretty much given that Adele will get #1 when she releases her album the week after. This means one of them will have to miss out?

Can Bieber grab the #1 spot to ensure one of the most successful comebacks this decade? Will Zayn's absence hurt 1D's performance? The speculations are endless.

Who will get the top-selling album: Bieber or 1D?

(Backgrounds coming later ~)

Justin Bieber:

My World 2.0: 283K

Under The Mistletoe: 210K

Believe: 374K

One Direction:

Up All Night: 176K

Take Me Home: 540K

Midnight Memories: 546K (ended up selling 1.1M in five weeks)

FOUR: 387K

I don't think another 500K selling album for 1D is out of the question, though I do think Bieber will probably beat them through streaming.

Purpose should definitely pass 500K.

Expecting Bieber to take it in the US and 1D in the UK.

Justin to clear 500k but wondering whether 1D might fall a bit short (though still up on the opening of FOUR of course).

Just a few weeks ago I thought this'd be an easy victory for 1D but Bieber's singles have both been huge so I am starting to think he will win. At least in the USA. I still can't see 1D losing it in the UK.
