Unfortunately, one direction will be number one with another dire album but their sales will be down compared to their other albums. I predict Kylie lower end of top10 and Ben Haenow will miss top 10.

Have you heard this album then? And all their previous ones?

I'm predicting 1D to sell about 140k, they've never sold less than 100k with an album in week 1 and I don't see why it'd be different this time, with strong pre-orders and two hit singles. Justin will probably sell 90k-100k, I feel like he's more of a singles artist still. Ed should be top 5 at least with the x re-issue, Ben Haenow around #8 possibly and Kylie, I'm not sure, she does quite often exceed my expectations so I can see top 10 happening for sure, not sure where.

This seems a good prediction (I don't agree with the sales predictions for 1D and Justin, though), but as I said previously I think Eva Cassidy will be top ten which would push Sam out. The Beatles have their special on Wednesday whilst Jess has CIN so I think we have all underestimated them. I suppose Rod Stewart could still be top ten too, but that will depend on where he's headed this week; we'll find out in the midweeks tomorrow.

Th following week will be crazy sales wise with both Adele and the new Now album out and November sales increase, can't wait to see them!

If Adele sells more than NOW 92, it will be the second time that a NOW album in the main series would have been outsold by an artist album in the first week: the first being SuBo outselling NOW 74

I take it Take That wasn't up against the Now album?

They were but NOW 77 sold more than Progress in its first week. Progress was released a week earlier but still had strong sales but not more than NOW 77

I think One Direction will top the chart with just over 100,000 sales, only scraping the 100K mark by a few thousand copies. Justin will be in second with around 70,000 sales, then Ed Sheeran with 45,000 copies sold.

Im not sure where the others will chart but I can see Kyle selling between 10,000 and 12,000 copies and I think Ben will sell around 16,000

One Direction will manage 100k+ sales no matter where they peak. None of their albums have had first week sales of under 100k, even their debut album which only got #2

1 One Direction (125-150k)

2 Justin Bieber (100k maybe? something between 75-100 anyway)

3 Elvis & The Orchestra

4 Ben Haenow (40k)

5 Jeff Lynne's ELO (35k)

6 Ed Sheeran (35k)

7 Kylie Minogue (30k)

8 Little Mix

9 Jess Glynne

10 Rod Stewart

11 Ellie Goulding

12 Andre Rieu (20k)

1D could easily open with a higher total than Four (maybe, idk)

Ben Haenow could score a good first week. I almost understand why people are underpredicting him, but I'd think the fact he's still last year's XF winner should be enough to help him?

1. One Direction - Made In the A.M. - 132,000

2. Justin Bieber - Purpose - 73,000

3. Elvis Presley - If I Can Dream - 40,000

4. Ed Sheeran - X - 38,000

5. The Beatles - 1 - 26,000

6. Ben Haenow - Ben Haenow - 22,000

7. Ellie Goulding - Delirium - 20,500

8. Little Mix - Get Weird - 20,000

9. Rod Stewart - Another Country - 16,500

10. Sam Smith - In the Lonely Hour - 16,000

-------------------

14. Kylie Minogue - Kylie Christmas - 11,000

Actually I'm surprised how good 1D's albums are. I'm not their target audience at all and I listen to them quite a lot. Maybe give them a listen Slowdown :)

I don't like One Direction at all sorry. Not my thing.

I notice Bieber is ahead of them on iTunes and I suspect he may get no1 album next week too.

Ben Haenow only 54 on iTunes. I think he will miss the top 10 albums and flop. It's obvious Fleur East will do a lot better. It's funny how some acts who win X factor struggle to translate that into a successful music career.
I'm no fan of either but it was obvious which artist Cowell favoured and would do his damnedest to ensure she had the best possible chance of being more successful. He's so predictable. Ben doesn't even have an iTunes banner. It still remains to be seen whether Fleur can carve out a lasting career in the music business once the hype has died down. I see her more shifting singles than albums.

Kylie's promo is going to start beginning of December but she is doing Royal Variety today and that should be shown next week or week after....

She will be going to Australia soon for a week so when she comes back Xmas should be in full flow

but don't underestimate her.... she sells a lot on her own website... especially with her wrapping in Kylie Xmas paper :) She also not releasing her vinyl album until 27th November...

She is doing better on ITunes than I thought and it has been on pre-order for around 40 days so I am hoping she can go top 10 but may just miss as last few weeks staked with albums from big current artists with huge radio play

I actually think Bieber sales should be HUGE he seems to be bigger than ever...... 1D should also be good

Ben Haenow well his biggest promo was X-factor but I can see some special offers being made on this album if sales are slow in release week
