Now THAT was a shock, didn't think he'd even be close to the bottom 3, let alone 2nd last in the public vote :o Won't complain though cause I don't think Seann's right for this show at all, he's not a popstar, whereas Mason at least has popstar potential.

We are about three weeks behind with the lives, so that was your week 5 shock folks.

Ugh this is ridiculous.

I'm actually not bothered Seann has gone, he would have done the same thing next week as the last 2 weeks and the sing off. Mason needs to do something special next week though or he is a gonner.

 

The judges vote stank of pre-decided who would vote for who so it would go to deadlock though.

Three of my faves out in one week (Kiera, Alien & Sean). Same happened last year ... albeit a bit later on with Only The Young.

 

I think it's boring/embarrasing that people would rather be ''entertained'' by Mason, Reggie & Bollie and Anton. I don't get it.

As I said in the odds thread, I could see Seann providing a shock exit. The right decision was made. Mason was there because it was a double eviction; had it been a single one he would've got through and people would've been all 'WHAT?' Seann is one of the best, and he will have a great career in theatre, not in music.

Cheryl's comment about it being her hardest ever bottom 2. :unsure: Laura White says hi.

Absolutely gutted Seann is gone. By far the most loveable personality on the show and even though his vocal is very theatrical, he gave the best vocal of anyone last night and absolutely obliterated Mason in the sing off. So ridiculously unjust.

Not shocked about Keira but very surprising the two boys. Seann voice is amazing but probably better Mason stayed. How on earth did Anton survive? The British public and their sympathy voting lol

We had our chosen finalists then, Seann and Louisa, for no reason but extra screen time standing with the next 2 contestants to sing.

Not bothered about Kiera but gutted for Seann, easily one of the most interesting and talented on there. :(

Very shocked for Seann there, bit of a joke really as he was by far one of the best vocalists there. I can see to an extent how he was a bit too eccentric for the public but still, he completely destroyed Mason in the sing-off and that judges vote was so clearly staged.

The cynicists are saying they "threw Anton under the bus" and I'm inclined to agree but I'd say that blatantly bussing him like that would have prevented rather than ensured him being in the bottom 3, it'd probably instill sympathy. I reckon he topped the vote last week anyway and I don't imagine, no mater how terrible he was

 

I wasn't a huge fan of Alien but I did love Seann and really like Kiera. I only really care about Louisa, 4I, Lauren and Che now, and I think I'll get bored of Che by like week 4.... Monica can do a good performance when she wants but I just don't really like *her*.

Monica is essentially an Aldi version of Cher Lloyd, Misha B and Ruth Lorenzo mixed into one.

 

I think the problem with Kiera and Alien was that their six chair / judges houses was a million times better than their live performances. I think the same with Louisa, Lauren and 4I too actually.

 

The only one who has actually improved since is Che imo.
