I 100% believe Jason's team didn't want them doing 'gay scenes' as they thought it could damage his career which is just sad, tragic and disgusting tbh, if anything it would of shown he's a progressive and open-minded guy and gays would of respected that but now this whole mess has kinda tainted him for me even if it's not nessecrrically him behind it

The 'didn't have time to film it' bothers me. The "story" wouldn't have even included the girls and they took 2 months to release a very simple video from when it was filmed.

It's all just a bit sad really. That something like that would actually be detrimental to someone's career, or that someone would think it would. Pathetic tbh. I do believe it has come from Jason's camp, I mean obviously we could be wrong, and not to point fingers, but the girls have made their support for the LGBT community very clear. I agree, it's certainly lowered my opinion of him, and it wasn't all that high to begin with :nocheer:

It's a shame that Secret Love Song hasn't got a USA release.

Joe has informed me that the last two days on Radio 1, they've practically been given B/C-list rotation and not A, which is really baffling if they're not being given the full A-list support? :unsure:

 

In regards to this, I think they're defiantely on the B list this week. SLS has only had 6 plays this week, everything else on A list has had about 11/12/13 plays. Website error I guess. They've even had opportunity to play the song but have gone with Black Magic and LMLY a few times this week, but they're almost certainly on the A list next week.

Surely it's quite logical for a song that's been on the A-list a couple more weeks to get more plays than a song that's only just been added? It's not going to have its peak plays now when it'll, presumably, be A-listed for a few weeks to come. I know that when we are shown the upcoming playlist on the Wednesday, the songs that have been taken off usually get the most amount of plays between that time and when the new playlist kicks in on the Monday.

Interesing, and you're probably correct, but I do find it odd that some of the songs of the B list are having more plays than SLS.

It is odd but it may well be quite common and it's possibly just been picked up on due to the close analysis of the progress of 'Secret Love Song' here?
