Cel Spellman and Scott have both given it a play so far, so I can't imagine there's any bad feeling there. Is the 'Get Ugly' addition really that significant? They've had both 'Alive' and 'Bang My Head' on the playlist for the last few weeks.

 

It's hopefully just the impact date that's causing them to hold off.

I would say it's the impact date (which I'm lead to believe is mid February or just after)? If that's the case, I'd expect it next week or in two weeks?

Yeah, it'll be related to the impact date no doubt, I'd be very surprised at a total snub.

Clara also played it this week, I forgot about Sia and Sia on the current playlist.

 

I know they wouldn't snub them at this point really, I'm just being impatient, seeing the song linger just outside the top 10 on iTunes for a couple of weeks now, I just want to see it smash Asap.

 

- also, now I've come to think of it, they would have released the video already, if it was time for Radio 1 to be play listing it (which is usually 2/3 weeks before impact). It's just Capital play listing it so early which has thrown me off, I think.

makes sense, I just hope we don't end up with a weird campaign like LMLY, and we actually get a good peak to match an awesome sales tally

I think this song is their strongest vocally. There's so much going on emotionally in here too. It's becoming one of my favourites too, nearing my top 3 I think.

I wish it was doing a bit better on streaming :/ Seeing it fall today before any weekend effect.

Great start for the song. They have another top 40 hit under there belt now, they are still slightly increasing every day on iTunes, so hopefully a climb next week, though without a video/promo/Radio 1 support it won't climb much as it needs streaming. Hopefully the video drops this week.

Nice increase from last week and i would hope the increase next week will be larger.

if the video drops next week, i think it could climb to the high 20s next week, maybe sneak into the top 20 if radio 1 add it to the playlist for the week after, and they make it their track of the day at some point

1975 may be out by the end of the day and if not that then definitely by the end of the weekend.

This could return to the top 10 very soon! Hopefully when it does it can stay there for more than an hour or two. Grace needs to stay away. Hopefully then Adele will fall quickly enough soon an SLS can be more comfortably top 10 for he week. (Wishful thinking, something always comes along).
