I am so disappointed. Like really disappointed! This could have been such an incredible moment for the girls. I really hope they make a video for Part 2. They have to after this non event :( Jason's over acting and cringe worthy dancing ruin the video for me.

Why is Jason dancing like a robot in the video?

 

They all look great, and it's a nice video. I do find it odd that there's not a single frame of them all together, but it's effective for highlighting which girl has which part of the song. Like others said, shame there didn't end up being much of a story but it works. It's classy.

Yeah I agree with the general vibe here, can't say I'm particularly enamoured with the video. It's pretty enough, but it just feels so hollow and certainly doesn't have any replayability like the previous two. At least it'll get the song out there on music channels.

 

Hopefully the storyline issues (rather, the lack of it) will be addressed in part II, although I'm not entirely convinced it'll even be released given how long it took to get this one out. I swear, if this is a repeat of the CYL situation... (it'll be worse imo, since this actually looks set to be a big hit).

It's like Jason is dancing on a very different track, very random! It does give me 2 become 1 vibes and the girls look gorgeous but it's a bit of a non event indeed.

My pros:

 

- That everyone is on their own so it makes Jason's being filmed separately feel less laughable in the "obviously not with them" sense.

- The look amazing, and Jesy's 'I'm YOOOOURS' did feel like an emotional moment.

- I don't know if it's because I watched on my phone screen, but the green-screen'd London out the window of Jason's attic looks quite authentic.

- Jason doing the robot and jumping off the wall during a heartbreaking ballad is so bad it's actually iconic.

- London looks great. (because it is)

I like the video, it is very 2 Become 1 and the girls look stunning. I just think it could have been a huge event like Christina Aguilera's 'Beautiful'. It was a really missed opportunity imo.

Well, whether it gets released or not, we don't know (obviously :lol:) but there is a clip somewhere on Twitter with Jade singing along to the verse that's only in Part 2! :D

So nothing-y and I don't even think it's particularly pretty. The fact Jason is dancing and they seem to have put his parts in some weird faster motion thing completely kills any form of atmosphere it is attempting to create.

 

I just feel like it makes the song feel smaller, which is the opposite of what it should do.

Video had so much potential :(

Well if this isn't a wasted video I don't know what is. They really should have added gay couples and interracial couples to signify the lyrics and create narrative, not just film them walking/standing in generic shots with London backdrops and then have them not even with Jason ...honestly what a disappointment - hope they film part 2. I'm just glad this is climbing. At least with the Saturdays, no matter how cheap, tacky and cringe some of the videos have been (Gentleman) at least there was interesting visuals, cute moments and gifable shots

 

quite sad really when they've had quite a few strong videos (DNA, Move, Little Me, Salute, Love Me Like You)

Up to number 6 now.

 

The video is working for the general public so good for them.

B listed on Radio 2! This should help them somewhat, fingers crossed it goes up to A next week.

 

Also A listed on radio 1! Great for the lead-in for the Graham performance next Friday.
