I'm glad to see it holding up well on Australia too! It was #15 until today, now it's at #17. #33 on Spotify. It would be lovely to see it going double platinum
It needs to sell 40k-ish more for 2x Platinum!! They really wasted SLS' potential to be bigger than Black Magic tbh? :nocheer:

It probably is, but we can only go on the latest figures we have. Either way given how iconic Wings is it's certainly a turn up to see a post album single this close to it

So thrilled, I'm just so happy that they now have a ballad up their with their 'classics', it really shows the full potential to the general public! SLS, BM, and Move show such variety, and shows how multi-talented they are
Yeah aside from Cannonball the closest thing they've released to a ballad so far as Little Me, which took nearly two and a half years to go Silver, so SLS being so successful is massive for them

It was a minor it, it came before the times of streaming, 12 for a post album single is fine and it will be certificated sooner or later.

Yeah, but you specified "ballad" and listed 'Little Me'. :P

LMLY was such a slow burner, I think it really benefitted from being a pre-album single, because I don't think it would have picked up so instantly as a post album single, which means it might have struggled to have gotten as much support as it did (it was #1 on airplay wasn't it?). I also think LMLY is a better album seller and sounded good around Christmas.
I seem to remember LMLY took something like 14 weeks to reach it's peak. I think they got it the right way round with that and SLS
