February 27, 20169 yr That live guitar solo on Let Me Out is everything I want from Eurovision and music in general
February 27, 20169 yr No Fear is REALLY good. Slightly subtle in its beauty. Would be happy to see that win if the orchestral majesty of Mikael can't. 1. Barbe-Q-Barbies 2. Mikael 3. Saara 4. Sandja 5. Annica Milan & Kimmo Bloom 6. Tuuli Okkonen 7. Christine Stella 8. Cristal Snow 9. Einia A really good national final, the dull Einia song aside, I'd be very happy to see any of the top 5 representing Finland. If we cast BQB in the Arion role and then either Saara or Sandja in the Krista role, I could see this replicating 2013 a little bit. Perhaps. Just a feeling Mikael's going to fall just short again.

Just a feeling Mikael's going to fall just short again. I am psychic. Saara = Diandra then. Minor variances in place aside. Well done Sandhja, very good song.
February 27, 20169 yr Like this a lot, heard it a few days ago and thought it was like a much better version of what they were trying to do in 2002.
February 28, 20169 yr I'm very glad Sandhja won, what a great performer and a song is pretty good in a Jess Glynne-ish way
February 28, 20169 yr Actually rather good. This will help soften the Nordic blow when Sweden inevitably send Franz.
February 28, 20169 yr It's really good, probably as good as my initial favourite Mikael! The melody in the part just before the chorus reminds me of Shaya's 'Sunshine' and Sandhja also reminds me of Kiesza, particularly in the middle 8. It reminds me a lot of 'Say Yay!' as well, but with more polished production but without Barei's infectious personality. I'm not sure if this is instant enough to be a certain qualifier, especially as semi-final one is looking very difficult. It's going to be borderline I should think!
February 28, 20169 yr Yeah I thought the same, it's essentially Keisza singing a Jess Glynne track. It's nothing particularly standout or groundbreaking but it's an instant, catchy pop song with good production.
February 29, 20169 yr Being the third performer in the semi final 1 doesn't help but I think this will go to final JUST and then anything can happen in the grand final. Edited February 29, 20169 yr by SKOB
February 29, 20169 yr Being the third performer in the semi final 1 doesn't help The countries are alphabetically ordered in each half of each semifinal. The running order will only be decided in a few weeks.
February 29, 20169 yr Ah LOL didn't realise that. Better not be #2 or 3 then Edited February 29, 20169 yr by SKOB
March 1, 20169 yr Sing It Away is in top 50 on Finnish Spotify, bodes well for the song that people are actually listening to it too.
August 27, 20168 yr The Sun are reporting Saara Aalto is on tonight's episode of the X Factor! :o (which is apparently so amazing it made Nicole want to twerk)
August 27, 20168 yr (Make that tomorrow night as the Nicole "you wanna make me twerk" comment that apparently refers to Saara was shown in the coming tomorrow night trailer)
August 27, 20168 yr Wait? As a contestant? Intriguing/good for her trying to make a name for herself here. (and indeed if anything good can come from that show nowadays it at least is the polar opposite of dylan from rotherham putting his ed sheeran on)
August 28, 20168 yr Yep she's definitely on tonight! She's singing Chandelier, Digital Spy have an article with tonight's auditonees. How wonderfully random
