December 15, 20159 yr Author Army - Such a beautful Gentle track that builds may not be my faveourite  Fergie - This is underrated KDA - Such a Lovely dance Banger, just love dancing to this  Jamie Lawson - I dont get the hate for this It really is a lovely song :( Army - yeah do love how it builds but she has way better tracks Fergie - indeed, should been more remembered for sure, it's quite a daring track KDA - banger through and through, sounds fantastic when it's blaring Lawson - I totally agree, everyone hates it because it sounds like Ed but I like both really so it was extra good for me  Thanks Harry!:D

Jeremih - Should've Been Us (43-23-4-3-6-11-14-29-x) 8 weeks 068 Sigala - Easy Love (13-9-10-4-8-11-18-38-49-x) 9 weeks 067 Blonde feat. Melissa Steel - I Loved You (19-15-18-25-18-5-9-8-12-20-15-18-19-37-x) 14 weeks 066 Marina & the Diamonds - I'm a Ruin (8-21-13-17-23-33-39-47-44-x) 9 weeks 065 Jessie J - Sweet Talker (13-9-21-28-30-50-x) 6 weeks Should've Been Us - I hadn't listened to a Tori single up until this point so this came as a massive surprise to me, it was way better than I was expecting it to be. It reminded me a bit of Do It Again too which is still yet to come. Just a great pop song with fantastic vocals and one hell of a chorus. A big shame it never did better despite Radio 1 support. Easy Love - I do really ABC in its original form but a summer remake was very welcomed too - it really refreshed the song and gave off some real joyous vibes. Shame it wasn;t a remix of Want U Back or Rockin' Robin though  I Loved You - This is a bit low for how much I love it but that's because I listened to it a lot last year too despite loving it all over again due to its release in January. It's a polished dance track with fantastic vocals and catchy hook with a bouncing summery beat underneath it all. Blonde still have a more 2015-ey track still to come shortly. Only two of its chart weeks on my chart were spent outside of the top 20 :o I'm a Ruin - I'd even call this Marina's best single now. It's a great pop song and her added quirkiness in her vocals just add this extra charm to it, was a big fan of it at the time so only one week top 10 is not enough in hindsight. Sweet Talker - The infamous Radio 1 only single  This was apparently a single but got no video and any real promotion, it's a really good pop song though so shame about that when she was busy promoting not so good stuff like Burnin' Up. I really like the 'sweet talker' hook on this and her vocals sound as good as always on this. I'll probably be the only person to chart this on my EOY though, nevermind this high but it still sounds so strong when I listen to it
December 15, 20159 yr Author HATE CHART http://i.imgur.com/AI4D3VM.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/cSeRNiN.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/zxL6vGY.png I wasn't going to do a hate chart but I don't just dislike anything MOR or rap so I thought I'd make my own because I seem to be disagreeing with everybody else's lists. I tend to be quite open-minded and not hate anything unless it's irritating, tuneless or overplayed so that's what my list consists of mainly. I could only find 13 sounds I really hated so here goes: 01. Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk 02. Walk the Moon - Shut Up and Dance 03. Lunchmoney Lewis - Bills 04. Omi - Cheerleader 05. Lost Frequencies - Are You With Me? 06. 5 Seconds of Summer - She's Kinda Hot 07. Leona Lewis - Fire Under My Feet 08. Fono - Real Joy 09. Avicii - Waiting For Love 10. Nick Jonas - Levels 11. Conor Maynard - Talking About 12. Felix Jaehn - Ain't Nobody 13. The Avener - Fade Out Lines Uptown Funk - I actually quite liked this for a couple of weeks but it became so overplayed and everyone seemed to like it and everyone listens to it at parties and you go anywhere and you hate it and it really is just horrible, makes me feel a little bit sick when I hear it now. Shut Up and Dance - Another one that I liked, it was a bit irritating but I still enjoyed it, then it long overstayed its welcome in the top 10 and was just horrid seeing it not leave forever so now I just can't stand it. Bills - This was just irritating in the first place, annoyingly sung, stupid lyrics and just awful but then it became a hit so it became 10x worse. Cheerleader - I actually really liked this for a while but that trumpet just sounds so grating now, another one overplay killed for me. Are You With Me? - Loved this in BJSC when Neil sent it but by the time the chart release came around, I'd burned it out already and then it just became massive so it was like burning it out twice, got very sick of it. She's Kinda Hot - I like them but what a mess, so boring, so tuneless, so bad :/ Fire Under My Feet - Never heard a more boring uptempo song in my life, LIFELESS is the word for this. Real Joy - Grating, weird, long, ugh. Waiting For Love - So disappointing compared to his previous stuff, don't get how a dance track can be this boring Levels - so noisy and the bop noises do not work for one moment, got very annoying quickly. Talking About - So messy for Conor, he was famous and pretty good at plain pop songs and then released this weird dance hybrid - it did not work. Ain't Nobody - Such a feisty original track with a lot of fun in it and then it got all drawn out by this dance remake, I point to Easy Love on how to do a lively remix and respect the original song. Fade Out Lines - Riding on the wave of stuff like Prayer in C etc. but was just annoying and had bad vocals.
December 15, 20159 yr Tori Kelly feat. Jeremih - I did like this but not loads oops Sigala - Easy Love - However love this mainly because I love the original  Blonde feat. Melissa Steel - Amazing  Marina & the Diamonds - This is beautiful I just Radio championed it :( Also from the hate chart... I love these sorry  01. Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk 02. Walk the Moon - Shut Up and Dance 03. Lunchmoney Lewis - Bills 04. Omi - Cheerleader 05. Lost Frequencies - Are You With Me? 07. Leona Lewis - Fire Under My Feet 08. Fono - Real Joy 09. Avicii - Waiting For Love 10. Nick Jonas - Levels 11. Conor Maynard - Talking About 12. Felix Jaehn - Ain't Nobody 13. The Avener - Fade Out Lines Edited December 15, 20159 yr by MerryFlynnmas

Chris Brown & Jhene Aiko - Post to Be (35-16-16-19-24-20-20-21-23-9-11-14-24-31-41-41-49-45-x) 18 weeks 056 Galantis - Runaway (U & I) (19-19-20-21-21-19-13-15-21-24-15-25-30-42-42-50-44-39-44-x) 19 weeks 055 Lana Del Rey - High by the Beach (35-23-20-25-6-5-10-20-30-41-48-x) 11 weeks Kamikaze - This is a more recent track but it's quite unique and I think I'll be a fan of it for a long time, pretty much just Lean On Part 2 so there is nothing not to love here, I absolutely love the instrument in this, not heard that in any mainstream tracks and it gives the track a really exotic enticing vibe to it which makes it even more likeable. Together - The final thing we'll see from Ella this year, a lot lower than her two singles from last year but they just did the same thing better, I was so hyped about this when it first came out but I guess I burned it out quickly due to the shorter chart run and now I just go to Comeback because it's more feisty and fun. She sounds fantastic on this though and I love how explosive it is. Lay Me Down - Just to clarify this is not the John Legend version, I had to knock this back a few places because the former has tainted the stunning original so much. It is very much like his other tracks but it's really beautiful and I love his falsetto so glad to see it in full force here. Writing's On the Wall - Double Sam Smith, everyone's worst nightmare on here but not for me - I actually really like his ballads and like how they got a bit of a spin with the dramatic James Bond violins which made this seem quite refreshing. Not a patch on I'm Not the Only One but glad to have another lovely ballad to add to the collection and lovely to see the falsetto back as mentioned before. Dream Lover - The Vaccines' best track ever for me, just love how atmospheric it all is, one of the more unique songs on my list and it sounds so good when you blare it and just lose yourself in all the instruments. I love the artwork a lot too which is always a bonus. All Cried Out - Blonde came back with a bang with yet another summer tune, this one wasn't as good as the last but it was exciting, fresh and really catchy so it was the perfect formula for a great dance track. It did tire on me quickly so a short chart run but I'm back on board with it now and love hearing it. Love Me Like You Do - Quite low for Ellie because it is a lovely pop song, it's exciting enough to be a very good pop song but it never did enough to be up with the big boys for me. It's a lot of fun to just head bang and hair whip with the drums as your prepare for the anthemic final chorus but still just a bit too by the numbers to reach 10/10 status. Post to Be - A really long chart run this had, still a big fan of it nowadays but not sure I'd give it another 18 weeks, the epitome of urban jam, the lyrics are on point especially the iconic 'he gotta eat the booty like groceries' and it's just a real head bopper - Chris Brown seems to have a link with a lot of good hiphop/rnb, especially this year. Runaway (U & I) - Another very long runner, this never had a big peak here but it was a real slow burner and never got boring, I've said before I love robot vocals and the drops in this are just so euphoric that it always sounded so refreshing. PBJ never had the same impact on me though despite almost everyone loving it here. High by the Beach - More Lana now, just another top quality mellow moping stoner anthem  It's Lana by the numbers and we've seen it before but when it works this well, I like hearing it in a new form. Shame it never picked up much radio support and ended the album campaign before it ever really started, not sure why she has not pushed anything since though when it's such a good quality album.
December 18, 20159 yr BIG love to Post To Be  surprised it missed by top 100 but it really should be there, one of my fave R&B tracks of the year. Never really got into All Cried Out but I don't mind hearing it if ever played. I'd be one of the few fans of a double Sam Smith - at least those 2 tracks! Good Bond Theme and Lay Me Down is probably my fave ballad of his now. In fact the only song I despise is the horrifying Stay With Me. Together pretty high up is pleasing but it's my least favourite of her solo track (still an 8/10 mind). As for your hate chart I'm extremely happy to see another vocal Uptown Funk hater! However I like all the other tracks :kink: although I do agree Ain't Nobody is pretty unspectacular.

It is just a fantastic R&B track, there are still a few more to come from that genre though. I did hate Stay With Me but now I do see how gorgeous it is, it was probably the one song ever that grew on me with overplay  I'm Not the Only One is definitely his best song for me. Good Times is definitely my least favourite, hope she pushes something new soon though, preferably a ballad or Typical Me just for sass reasons  It's such a horrid song and is so overrated, what an irritating racket. Ain't Nobody was actually alright for a bit but I started to dislike it because it tainted the fierce original so much with pure lifelessness :// Thank you for commenting :D

I loved the video too, was quite daring for her I suppose but she pulled it off and she looked like a real star as well. Flashlight - At first I was disappointed with how held back this was whilst everybody else was rejoicing that they didn't have to hear her screeching. For me, it was just so reigned in that it felt boring but in time it really grew on me and turned into a real anthemic beautiful track hence the lengthy run despite only an #18 peak. Photograph - Every once in a while I start to think this may be the best track on 'x' but I think Don't still clinches on to tha title at the moment. Everyone seems to hate this for being boring but for me it's really beautiful and it just did not get boring at all, I never really appreciated it at the time loads so only a #21 peak but it still sounds fantastic even now. Recently I've been playing the album more and I'm always excited for this to come up. I Bet - I certainly wasn't expecting Ciara to come back with something this good but so she did, the song of her career. It's a polished R&B slow yet fierce track and it just sounds fantastic, still heartbroken it never took off in the charts. Leave a Trace - The last we'll see of CHVRCHES until next year now. I usually go off their songs really quickly and they have chart runs of about four weeks despite high peaks, this one really struck with me, it seems a bit more mature and quieter than some of their other tracks and I like that about it. However, it still has a fairly short chart run compared to other tracks up here.
December 19, 20159 yr JOSH the first post in the singles countdown has really upset me :snif: 'Run Away With Me', 'Where Are U Now' and 'Ghosttown' FAR TOO LOW :((( (yay for them making an appearance at least, i guess lol). Excited to see what else is to come if it's already this strong!
December 20, 20159 yr Photograph is a weird one, I want to love it but find myself among the majority that find it boring. My opinion seems to change based on when I hear it, if it's on the radio I usually skip to another station but just yesterday I heard it at a restaurant and thought WOW, this is stunning! Maybe it just starts slow because it seems to really click once the drums come in.

December 20, 20159 yr Good Times was another great track by Ella, Saving My Life was good but not much on their bigger singles. BBHMM is awful  the Handbag House remix is rather good though. TNISY is also pretty good and I like Trouble (but I think Avicii's one is a lot better :heehee: ) Lay It All On Me is quite good, but Rudy hasn't done a great lot with this era. Kiss Me is also good but the same for Olly. Love Outlines :music: and WTWM is great but it's rather overrated on the official chart and he's not been as good as he was last year's era :( Army is good but I think it's one of the weaker tracks on the album :kink: I thinkPerfect is ok but probably because of the similar sound to Style :P I like the verses of LA Love but the choruses not so much :P the lalalala parts are quite annoying for me and putting countries of the world in lyrics is Pitbull-style lazy  Rumble is great but Tinie's done better (I'm saying that a lot this year ) WET isn't as bad as I thought :o Easy Love :music: the Blonde song is really catchy for me. I'm A Ruin is a good highlight from the album too :D Not enjoying your hate chart at all though   Love the top 5, Fono and WFL are great and Levels and Talking About is ok, Ain't Nobody is quite a tune and I liked FOL but really the 5SOS is the only one I don't actually lie :( Together is another great Ella song but I don't agree with the Sam Smith ones :kink: another great Blond song too and love LMLYD  also find Post to Be good and Runaway was a big grower for me :music: I find Poison weak compared to Rita's other songs tbh, and I'm not a fan of Flashlight or Photograph but adore the Felix Jaehn remix
December 20, 20159 yr Kamazie - This song is good should have been a smash. Together - This is so good  Lay Me Down - Really good song. Dream Lover - One of my favourites of the year  All Cried Out - Like this but I Loved You is more is better Love Me Like You Do - This is too low :( :( :( Post To Be - Should have smashed here :( Runaway - Love Love Love  High By The Beach - So underated this year both the album and this song :( Photograph - Is lovely but I wish I charted it higher :( I Bet - So Underrated *.* Leave A Trace - Really good, love the pace of the song.

Hi Harry Kamikaze - Definitely should have been, if it got more support I think it may have been a top 40 hit all Cried Out - I agree with you there but ILY feels more 2014 for me hence the lower position here. - both are tunes though, love how summery they are. LMLYD - Ellie is still to come though, with the track everyone seems to hate though so oops. Post to Be - I agree, wish we had more hiphop hits here like the US. High by the Beach - still gutted the album just disappeared without a trace, it was slow and sad but that's why it's good! Photograph - me too, #21 is not good for how much I love it. Wish it made top 10 officially too, it's better than TOL, Bloodstream and Sing imo. I Bet - I agree, really should've been a top 40 hit at least. My opinion seems to change based on when I hear it, if it's on the radio I usually skip to another station but just yesterday I heard it at a restaurant and thought WOW, this is stunning! Maybe it just starts slow because it seems to really click once the drums come in.Hi Jordan It just sounds stunning every time for me  I agree with you it really gets good with the drums though ! Thank you!! 063 Ella Eyre - Together (5-2-4-6-2-2-3-16-36-x) 9 weeks This really deserved to be a smash, excellent track  062 Sam Smith - Lay Me Down (6-4-1-3-3-5-7-11-14-25-43-x) 11 weeks What is this doing anywhere near the top 100,000 songs of 2015 061 Sam Smith - Writing's On the Wall (22-6-10-15-18-25-34-42-31-37-48-48-...) 12 weeks (SO FAR) What is this doing anywhere near the top 100,000 songs of 2015 x2 056 Galantis - Runaway (U & I) (19-19-20-21-21-19-13-15-21-24-15-25-30-42-42-50-44-39-44-x) 19 weeks Easily one of the best dance songs, such a fantastic track  055 Lana Del Rey - High by the Beach (35-23-20-25-6-5-10-20-30-41-48-x) 11 weeks Queen Lana *.* 053 Jessie J - Flashlight (25-19-32-40-18-35-19-27-26-36-37-37-42-47-49-x) 15 weeks Jesy J slaying another chart *.* Flashlight is really such an incredible and underrated ballad :wub:Hi Uv! 063 So do all of her tracks, not sure what is not clicking there. 062 It's beautiful though, what a voice! 061 ^ 056 It is definitely one of the best dance tracks of the year, pure euphoria! 055 Yep, one of her best tracks now for me. 053 No one seems to like her but us lol Thank you :D Good Times was another great track by Ella, Saving My Life was good but not much on their bigger singles. I'm A Ruin is a good highlight from the album too :D Not enjoying your hate chart at all though   Love the top 5, Fono and WFL are great and Levels and Talking About is ok, Ain't Nobody is quite a tune and I liked FOL but really the 5SOS is the only one I don't actually lie :( Together is another great Ella song but I don't agree with the Sam Smith ones :kink: another great Blond song too and love LMLYD  also find Post to Be good and Runaway was a big grower for me :music: I find Poison weak compared to Rita's other songs tbh, and I'm not a fan of Flashlight or Photograph but adore the Felix Jaehn remix :wub:HI Spadam, lots of comments here  Thank you for taking so much time :D I think SML is their second best single for me behind Here For You, gutted it never picked up more support. Rudy haven't been great this era I totally agree, LIAOM is the only redeeming thing really. WTWM definitely stuck around for too long but it is a good pop song, he's had way better though - Ridin Solo  Army is 100% of her weakest, her voice works best on uptempos for me in studio form but she can't really do them live :/ Yeah the verses are great, so much random name-dropping  I think the la la la is catchy though. Glad we can agree on 5SOS though, they're usually decent but what a mess! Poison is definitely one of her weaker tracks but still a good pop track nonetheless, BOM is still to come from her though. Didn't like the Felix Jaehn remix of Photograph, doesn't work at all in dance remix form imo :/ Thank you again :D
