Fono.....Tinie Tempah....Eric Prydz...DWTD....Alesso...Jack U (yes I like it now ) and Camelphat all amazing

Hi Dan

Sort of forgot about All Day's existence, seems it's already a bit forgotten. It was quite a tune though, think it was a good choice as a single because it's one of the catchiest hooks he's had on just a rap track.

Not Letting Go is underrated here, one of Jess's best imo, she makes the whole song with that hook and Tinie does a great job too. The middle 8 is one of my favourites in any song of recent times as well :D

seems odd that Kanye's not released anything since, what happened to the album that was meant to be out this year??

of course Queen Jess improves the song muchly, otherwise it's quite standard but decent tune

Love quite a bit, especially Worth It, Style and Fight Song
yay, thought you'd approve of Style and Fight Song being here

thanks guys

#150. Zeds Dead & Oliver Heldens - You Know

43-32-29-25-15-14-34-x [7 weeks]

Some short commentary now that we're in the top 150, which starts with this banger from Oliver Heldens. This is obviously not the last of him you'll see in this chart, he has 3 songs top 100.

#149. Hannah Diamond - Every Night

41-45-x-36-48-x [4 weeks]

Despite the low peak and awful chart run this is great, and has been sticking around well in my expanded top 100 which I don't include in my chart runs. There's an even shorter chart run later this section.

#148. Years & Years - Eyes Shut (Sam Feldt Remix)

15-16-27-13-17-42-x [6 weeks]

The original was alright to listen to but Sam Feldt really improves it with his tropical house vibes, it really suits the feel of the song. Both Y&Y and Sam Feldt have song(s) yet to come.

#147. Technasia & Green Velvet - Suga

22-23-15-14-20-29-x [6 weeks]

The best-selling song on Beatport this year was this very song, a nearly 7 minute tech-house tune with a kool guitar riff and raspy vocals. Tech-house isn't usually my thing but this is great, worth a listen if you're not familiar with it.

#146. Rita Ora - Body On Me (feat. Chris Brown)

18-18-18-17-17-22-23-x [7 weeks]

Not the last you'll see of Chris Brown on this chart (he really was everywhere this year) but no more Rita Ora. After a weak pop effort 'Poison' which was called a comeback she followed it up with this which was a lot better which of course meant it had to underperform in the charts. -_- It's what I look for in a pop song really, the catchy hook and slight RnB feel help this.

#145. A-Trak - Push (feat. Andrew Wyatt)

26-43-x [2 weeks]

Yep this is quite a poor excuse of a chart run but great song. It was of course a plug.dj/BJSC discovery and a great one at that. The piano riff is great to hear and the hooks really adds to it too even with the limited lyrics in them.

#144. Etienne de Crécy - You (feat. Madeline Follin)

31-28-34-47-50-x [5 weeks]

Another BJSC entry this time from Espen who gave us this banging French house and finished 2nd in its contest. Quite unique especially loving whatever it is that sounds like a flute but probably isn't.

#143. Tough Love - So Freakin' Tight

47-50-42-45-21-28-30-47-x [8 weeks]

Tough Love's second appearance following 'Pony (Jump On It)' but surprisingly not their last. This was of course their only proper hit in the UK singles chart and it is quite the banger.

#142. TCTS - Thinking About You (feat. Leo Kalyan)

38-22-15-9-12-15-31-x [7 weeks]

This served as my entry for Buzzjackfestivalen mostly because it is exactly 3 minutes long but it's also quite a cool house tune. They would later produce KStewart's 'Ain't Nobody' which appeared earlier on in the countdown.

#141. Adele - Hello

4-11-24-18-28-x [5 weeks]

The comeback single from Godele had everyone excited. Including me even though it's about as far from a dance song you can get. There have of course been remixes of this but this version remains the best. Such a powerful vocal really.

Poor Diviners being disadvantaged by the late release :snif:

Poor underrated Sweet Escape. f***ing love that song

#140. Jessica 6 - Down Low (feat. Thodoris Triantafillou & CJ Jeff)

48-37-25-46-x [4 weeks]

BJSC again, in a rare occurrence of HausofBal sending a dance song which mostly grew on me post-contest eventually making the top half of my chart. I just love deep house songs like this really so no surprise this is here.

#139. M-22 - Some Time

31-24-24-24-46-x [5 weeks]

I do love how this spent 3 weeks at its peak of #24, usually it's the top tier where 3 weeks at its peak happens. Anyway this is another kool deep house song that I discovered from Spotify actually although Ethan would later send it to a BJSC spin-off.

#138. Paperwhite - Pieces

13-24-x-28-22-20-23-46-x [7 weeks]

It's not often non-mainstream-non-dance-non-BJSC songs make my chart but this is an exception. It's just really upbeat indie-pop and her voice is lovely.

#137. The Writer's Block - If You Love Me

32-20-21-12-9-... [5 weeks]

TWB do a great remake of a 90s song I wasn't very familiar with, with good deep house vibes throughout.

#136. Kygo - Stole The Show (feat. Parson James)

31-37-34-34-31-21-x [6 weeks]

I was quite disappointed with this at first, mostly because it served as the follow-up to 'Firestone' which will be appearing at least 100 places higher than this. It is a nice banging tune though and proves that Kygo is at the top of his game.

#135. David Vrong - Reflection

24-9-15-36-50-x [5 weeks]

Standard deep house instrumental with some piano chords in it, but it works very well.

#134. Chet Faker - Talk Is Cheap

49-14-6-26-42-x [5 weeks]

I thought I'd give this song a lil listen after it won Triple J's Hottest Song of 2014 as he'd previously been on Flume's 'Drop the Game' which I liked. To my surprise this turned out to be really good, and now he's back in my chart with Marcus Marr collab 'The Trouble With Us' which is also smashing in Australia. Someone to watch out for next year possibly?

#133. Galantis - Peanut Butter Jelly

45-35-41-34-42-41-30-32-46-x-42-x [10 weeks]

Whilst not being quite as good as their previous single, which will appear in my top 100, this is quite the tune with its nu-disco vibes and fun lyrics.

#132. KSHMR & Bassjackers - Memories (feat. Sirah)

3-4-8-34-45-x [5 weeks]

This was the follow-up to 'JAMMU' which hit #1 in my chart and so I was initially excited but ultimately it doesn't quite have the same effect as his previous song. It does work as a progressive house song though and it was good to have Sirah of 'Bangarang' fame back (and actually singing this time!)

#131. John Gibbons - Your Love

43-x-34-30-40-23-14-12-... [7 weeks]

This one has proved to be quite the grower, and it could even head for my top 10 this Friday. The saxophone solo in particular is a moment. Thanks go to Radio 1's Dance Anthems for this discovery.

Eyes Shut and So Freakin Tight are horrid. Body On Me was ok but is so boring and feels like it belongs in 2007 now when I listen to it!

#130. Lucas & Steve - Blinded (feat. Bethany)

10-5-14-32-35-x [5 weeks]

Lucas & Steve finally gave us an original song after last year's 'Everybody Be Somebody' remix which was in my top 100 and it delivered. I do love their style of house, quite simple and straightforward but a good listen. The duo have another song yet to come.

#129. Above & Beyond - We're All We Need (feat. Zoe Johnston)

42-26-49-x-30-24-38-x [6 weeks]

A&B had one of my top 5 albums of the year so naturally a few of their singles make my chart. This originally charted at the back end of last year but re-peaked off the release of the album.

#128. Above & Beyond - All Over The World (feat. Alex Vargas)

15-11-10-21-48-x [5 weeks]

A&B again, this song like the last has a great trancey feel to it, and currently it is their only top 10 hit.

#127. Special Request - Amnesia

6-7-8-21-... [4 weeks]

Cool house song and whilst the full version has an overly long intro I don't mind it, the song doesn't drag at all. Once it gets going with the piano and female vocal it's really good.

#126. Matoma & The Notorious B.I.G. - Old Thing Back (feat. Ja Rule & Ralph Tresvant)

5-6-13-33-37-x [5 weeks]

An old-skool rap over a tropical house beat, what's not to love really.

#125. Nero - Two Minds

19-21-30-41-26-16-29-x [7 weeks]

It seems in 2015 Nero are quite good at making progressive-house influenced tunes then, but when it comes to dubstep (cough The Thrill) it's a bit disappointing. It was good to see this song getting them an official top 40 even if it will probably be their last.

#124. KDA - Turn The Music Louder (Rumble) (feat. Tinie Tempah & Katy B)

34-30-18-11-12-17-42-x [7 weeks]

The instrumental version didn't impress me much but Katy B really shines on this song. Hopefully she properly returns to the chart sometime next year but for the moment she has a buzz single 'Calm Down'. And I guess Tinie Tempah's good on this too.

#123. Martin Garrix - Don't Look Down (feat. Usher)

13-12-11-22-39-43-49-x [7 weeks]

Martin Garrix has had quite a big year for me, which included this song which managed to even hit the UK top 10. But imo it's not his best, he actually has 3 songs yet to appear in this chart. Still quite the tune and if he has to go super-commercial then this is the way to do it.

#122. Showtek - 90s By Nature (feat. MC Ambush)

32-x-29-25-24-19-18-20-26-39-40-x [10 weeks]

Showtek show they've still got it with this song which clearly shows its influences in 90s house chords followed by a future house drop but manages to keep some of their trademark sound.

#121. The Chemical Brothers & Q-Tip - Go

29-31-21-17-12-12-19-37-x [8 weeks]

With 'Galvanize' being one of my favourite 00s songs I was excited to hear that The Chemical Brothers and Q-Tip would be teaming up again. And whilst this obviously isn't nearly as good it does its job, and it gave them their biggest hit in years!

#120. Sophie - Just Like We Never Said Goodbye

33-18-8-15-19-40-x [6 weeks]

I never expected this from Sophie, but it works really well. A 'dance ballad' with just Sophie's trademark high pitched vocal and synths, no beat - it's really emotional with the lyrics too. And it's 3 minutes long so we could possibly be seeing this in the next Buzzjackfestivalen. I wouldn't be against the idea.

#119. NERVO - The Other Boys (feat. Kylie Minogue, Jake Sheers & Nile Rodgers)

22-27-14-15-14-27-40-x [7 weeks]

Some really big names on this track but it's not a case of all hype no substance because this tune really delivers and manages to be NERVO's best in ages. Loving the disco vibes on the track which really show themselves in the excellent guitar solo outro in the album version.

#118. Tim Mason - Together

40-11-13-19-26-29-18-22-31-x [9 weeks]

Just a lush progressive house instrumental that makes good use of its one melodic theme. It was at one point a BJSC potential.

#117. Dusky - Yoohoo

33-7-15-40-47-x-23-30-x [7 weeks]

This started to make an impact at the back end of last year, but missed out on an EOY spot. It deservedly gets one this year though, these guys do occasionally make a great deep house tune, and I mean proper deep house not deep mixed with future or progressive.

#116. Felix Jaehn - Eagle Eyes (Lucas & Steve Remix) (feat. Lost Frequencies & Linying)

6-7-4-... [3 weeks]

This one could potentially climb in next year's chart as I'm still really loving it. Lucas & Steve do it again with their piano-riff in the buildup and a banging drop. And you can still hear the Felix Jaehn influences in here too although I forgot what the original version sounded like. And apparently Lost Frequencies was involved with this too.

#115. Alex Adair - Heaven

15-6-8-20-29-50-x [6 weeks]

Alex Adair really brings the tropical vibes in this one. Also it's the first of three songs in this chart to be titled 'Heaven'. Yep that's a really popular song title for some reason. Adair has another song yet to come of course which spent more weeks in the top 2 than this spent in the top 50.

#114. King Arthur - Belong To The Rhythm (feat. Michael Meaco)

39-5-9-14-27-42-x [6 weeks]

King Arthur brings the Don Diablo teas (are we sure he isn't Don Diablo?) here, with a really catchy bassline. His follow-ups haven't been quite as good sadly.

#113. The Writer's Block - Dancing In The Dark (feat. Anouk)

11-6-7-19-39-x-48-x [6 weeks]

This song managed to be the highest non-Avicii song on 'Stories' release week, peaking at #6 (slaying). Although it didn't last that long in the chart in the end so it's a good thing Avicii stopped this from going to #1. Also shockingly this doesn't seem to be a cover version unlike all of their other songs that I'm familiar with.

#112. Disciples - They Don't Know

38-6-6-11-15-43-x [6 weeks]

It took a few listens but this ended up being quite a good tune, it's a nice bit of deep house. Of course later they would team with Calvin Harris, more on that much later in the countdown.

#111. Jess Glynne - Take Me Home

30-13-5-12-13-33-37-... [7 weeks]

I wasn't sure if I'd get into a Jess Glynne ballad the same way I loved her other songs, and it kinda passed me by when it was an album track, but this defied my expectations in the end and quickly became a favourite. Lovely song and lovely voice.

Poor Diviners being disadvantaged by the late release :snif:

Poor underrated Sweet Escape. f***ing love that song

Maybe they'll appear again next year if they hold up well. Although I do now have a rule that a song can only re-appear if it climbs the following year (this means 'Five More Hours' will not be making an appearance by the way) so it'll have to be top 151. :P

What even with that chart run *dead* so glad you love "Push" though!

GODELE. WE ARE NOT WORTHY.

'Push' really should've stayed a few weeks longer than it did but thankfully the EOY chart is determined by opinion rather than points (for this reason).

Justin Bieber and 1D will scream to the heavens: "Save us, oh merciless queen! Deliver us from our eternal void of writing credits and 5 hour stays at #1!"  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ed2305b7.png And Godele will look down and simply whisper "no...."

Eyes Shut and So Freakin Tight are horrid. Body On Me was ok but is so boring and feels like it belongs in 2007 now when I listen to it!

I wouldn't say BOM is that dated, but it's not exactly innovative either.

Hello is indeed great

#110-101

#110. Ferdinand Weber - What

37-18-19-20-26-29-32-35-44-x [9 weeks]

More lush deep house with a tropical feel, strongly helped by its Spanish(???) guitar hook. The voice questioning 'what?' seems a bit odd but it's part of this song's charm.

#109. Rihanna - Bitch Better Have My Money

11-10-18-23-32-44-43-x [7 weeks]

Really loving the sassiness of this track. Rihanna knows what she wants and she does a good job of demanding it. Now where the fuck is 'ANTI'?? Bitch better have new songs already.

#108. FineArt - Ruffnek

48-42-24-15-12-12-18-30-x [8 weeks]

Really digging the bassline here, another great deep house song (they are a big theme in this chart).

#107. Kygo - Here For You (Instrumental/Vocal Mix (feat. Ella Henderson))

45-38-28-33-31-23-28-38-x-15-28-x [10 weeks]

This song eventually made the top 20 off the back of the vocal version but it is the great instrumental that really sells it for me. It's what I expect from Kygo really but this does deliver. Really loving the use of piano in it.

#106. Ellie Goulding - On My Mind

25-8-10-15-20-24-35-36-x [8 weeks]

I never cared much for 'Love Me Like You Do' but this uptempo reminded me of why I like Ellie Goulding, even if it got a bad rep by a lot of people I think it's great. Not 'Burn' or 'Anything Could Happen' quality but enough to keep me happy.

#105. Diviners - Tropic Love (feat. Contacreast)

21-6-7-18-34-x [5 weeks]

Despite the obvious Kygo rip-off in sound it actually manages to be better than a few of his songs. Not sure what it is but I love it. Great BJSC discovery.

#104. Jess Glynne - Don't Be So Hard On Yourself

32-50-21-11-22-22-45-39-x [8 weeks]

I do love a good uplifting song and Jess seems to always provide those. The lyrics really speak to me too, but that's not enough for the top 100 in this competitive year.

#103. SNBRN - Raindrops (feat. Kerli)

27-29-9-9-5-13-32-x [7 weeks]

The drop in this really stands out, and the vocalist is unique too. Of course I would love this and unsurprisingly it won the BJSC.

#102. WSTRN - In2

33-10-20-27-25-15-19-50-x [8 weeks]

Not hard to see how this got big, I do love a catchy urban track and with hooks like these it quickly got my attention. Nice bassline too which gives some dance music teas.

#101. Showtek - Satisfied (feat. Vassy)

23-x-12-15-18-24-29-20-27-30-x [9 weeks]

Vassy really does have a good voice for dance music and in this song particularly you can really hear her at her maximum singing potential. That alongside Showtek's banging big room production make this an easy hit for me however it just misses the top 100.

Tropic  and Raindrops  two very big TRIANGLEDONIA faves
Looking forward to some bangers in the top 100, Dan  pleased to see Adele inside your top 150, beautiful song  she can't do no wrong really!

HI Dan

Don't Be So Hard On Yourself is too low! Pure joy from start to finish, one of the most uplifting tracks out there, I'm a big fan of her voice too, she just sounds fantastic on the middle 8 and final chorus when she starts really going for it.

Here for You is now my favourite Kygo track actually, at first I thought it was a bit too subtle but it feels really delicate now which I really like, contrasts very well with Ella's fantastic vocals too.

:D

In2

Not Letting Go, Wet Dollars, Turn The Music (Louder), Step Back (Get Down), The Rhythm and the Rich Home Quan song are also highlights from this countdown!
