December 12, 20159 yr From what I remember reading (sure it was on here) their winners song is something different to Forever Young. Ah really? Hope so, much prefer it when the finalists get differing songs and Forever Young I couldn't see working at all!
December 12, 20159 yr Am I the only one who thinks Reggie and Bollie don't have a cat in hells chance? I think the vote will be at least 65/35 for Louisa if not more one sided! This year is really poor and the fact they are in the final two shows that surely? Having said all that it would be hilarious if they did do it.
December 12, 20159 yr Since Che and Louisa both come from Essex, my guess most of Essex were voting for Louisa :D Essex have good taste.

This year is really poor and the fact they are in the final two shows that surely? I'm not gonna count my chickens yet but I'm predicting a similar vote split in Louisa's favour! The bookies are very interesting to see right now, Louisa's odds keep on shortening with RNB's drifting.
December 12, 20159 yr My general thoughts: I can't see either of Louisa or Reggie n' Bollie doing anything, but Louisa is probably quite far ahead in the votes... I don't think it will be close between them. Che gave some very outstanding performances during his time on the show but also some duds. His vocals are truly great but I don't think he will do well in the music industry. Perhaps there should be another route that he goes down? I like all three finalists but I'm in agreement that it was quite an uneventful, dull final. The Fleur/Little Mix performance was quite ambitious with them both attempting each other's songs. I think Fleur did well with her opening of Black Magic but LM didn't bring it with Sax... I thought Perrie doing the first verse was waaaaaay off. I enjoyed seeing Craig David on my TV screen again; that brought back a lot of memories!
December 12, 20159 yr Omg that Louisa/Rita duet   Just absolutely STUNNING *.* Possibly performance of the series, both of them were absolutely fantastic
December 12, 20159 yr I should add, though, that the dancing and stage presence from both acts was indeed brilliant. My favourite performance was Louisa's first one.
December 12, 20159 yr General highlights of the evening: Reggie & Bollie singing 'Spice Up Your Life' and 'Boom Boom Boom' and duetting with CRAIG DAVID! They've just been my favourites generally! Was sad to see Ché go though, he was a dude and had an awesome voice. He'll get a deal anyway. Louisa's not really my cuppa TBH but she'll win anyway.
December 12, 20159 yr Oh and the Fleur/Little Mix duet gave me total 'Alexandra and JLS doing 'Bad Boys/Everybody in Love' in 2009 teas. Was awesome!
December 13, 20159 yr The whole final from a producers point of view was to make sure Che went tonight and Reggie and Bollie got through but with Louisa seen as the rightful winner as she has 'the voice'. They pretty much nailed it, Reggie and Bollie wont be given as much positivity tomorrow night and Simon and co will remind us that they lack vocals and Louisa has the voice and at the end of the day it is a singing competition but Reggie and Bollie have done well to get this far and brought fun to the show. I remember saying very early on Louisa was the chosen one as they will want to have a young, pretty white girl win as it will be something different for the show.
December 13, 20159 yr And all the defending the indefensible from the Fleur stans :) I'm in no way a Fleur stan. I wouldn't even call myself a fan of any kind. But by FAR the best performance of the whole night. Memorable, entertaining, energetic. Dandy* said it, I don't need to go into it, she isn't someone who's music I would buy, yet I was entertained. So why she is "indefensible" i'm not sure. Ben was AWFUL, plain and forgettable. I don't think for a second think the whole of the LM/FE performance was mimed, I heard pre recorded backing vocals (like most artists use now) but who cares, even if it was. I'd rather them do that than give an awful account of themselves like Ben did.
December 13, 20159 yr I think Ben was pretty good. He has a distinctive gravely voice that I'm sure some don't like but he did his best to give a passionate performance. It is a shame they haven't gone for one of the more uptempo songs from the album as the 2nd single. Leona for me was a bit sad. The voice isn't what it once was and she seemed shoehorned into the performance and performing Run stank of 'Past it but I used to have a career and decent songs'. It wasn't a great duet and they didn't mesh very well.
December 13, 20159 yr Anywho... moving on from the muppet rating Ben over Fleur  RNB and Fuse ODG and CRAIG DAVID (sorry, how buff???). What a VERY entertaining performance. EASILY the most memorable duet and IMO the contestant performance of the night. I said to Joesph I would cut down on the Rita comments so I will stick to one, she was over powered, tried too hard and had to have attention on her by doing the duet. :eyeroll: Louisa SHOUTED her way through I Believe I Can Fly. I'm sorry, I just don't see what everyone else see's. I agree with the majority though, I don't think it will even be close. Around 60/40 in the votes, but as ever, can't wait to see the stats. oh and... SLAYDELE
December 13, 20159 yr tbh this top 2 pairing is by far the most interesting thing to come out of this series
December 13, 20159 yr I missed the finale last night so I'm catching up on Youtube ! The Spice Up Your Life / Boom Boom Boom mash up gave me LIFE :cheer: These boys are magical, so much good energy and fun ! I never rooted for a "novelty" act before but they are much more than that and genuinely amazing at what they do. Edited December 13, 20159 yr by Hayzayy

I'd rather them do that than give an awful account of themselves like Ben did. Because she also mimed the opening while standing completely still. There is a difference between adding some backing vocals than having the whole track being played in the background and just singing/mouthing along with it (at times mics were not even near mouths) Anyway that will be my last word on it as if people can't see it was not live well I don't know what else to say...
December 13, 20159 yr Omg, you are completely ruining this topic with your repetitive and non-sensical comments. Having watched the performance plenty of times, the opening was 110% not mimed, you could tell it was a live vocal and you have no good reason to think it was mimed other than you think she sounded better than what you thought she would. Get over it, Fleur stood still and sung well. Woopty do. The only time I noticed backing track getting used was during the chorus of Black Magic and the pre-chorus of Sax, just to give them that extra punch. And no popstar has to ever apologise for singing over pre recorded vocals as its always been in use and doesn't carry the same 'cheating' connotations that you are trying to label them with. Anyway, that's enough said about it because it's so so tedious to listen to.

Its funny how a discussion gets "ruined" when its not what people want to hear but as I said in my last post happy to leave it there. Someone replied to me asking me to explain my "indefensible" comment and I did. We don't all fall for the hype and we have a right to say so. I haven't been rude and people calling people "c**ts is ok but a valid opinion is not it seems. Oh well. Edited December 13, 20159 yr by torresgirl
