December 30, 20159 yr Author I really like To Pimp A Butterfly so yay for that here  Hoping Reflection or Revival comes top! Glad to see you liked To Pimp A Butterfly Them two albums will appear very soon :kink: Not heard any of those albums but I'm looking forward to what's still to come! Revival to smash please *.* Revival has definitely done very well here.
December 30, 20159 yr Author 4. The Weeknd - Beauty Behind The Madness 3. Fifth Harmony - Reflection 2. Selena Gomez - Revival Beauty Behind The Madness was an album I was extremely excited for. When I finally got to listen to it I was slightly disappointed, nothing really stood out apart from the singles. It's still a fantastic album but I was expecting slightly more. Reflection on the other hand, exceeded my expectations. Very fun to listen to and nothing sounds out of place. Revival was also 100x better than I expected it to be. Every song sound brilliant and there are definitive stand outs for me that are not (yet) singles.
December 31, 20159 yr Author The Weeknd and Selena both good and never heard Fifth Harmony's album :( Glad to see you like The Weeknd's & Selena's albums  Fifth Harmony's album goes highly recommended
December 31, 20159 yr Author 1. Drake - If You're Reading This, It's Too Late :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: If You're Reading This, It's Too Late is the album that I've loved the most this year. Before this I thought of Drake as a bit of a joke act. But this album (or mixtape) is brilliant and fully deserving of my album of the year. This album and more specifically the track Preach was the bar that the rest of the years music is compared to. Legend & Energy are both extremely catchy. So massive well done to Drake, IYRTITL is my album of the year. Edited April 21, 20205 yr by LewisGT

January 2, 20169 yr Author 3 songs hold over from last year so these are the "2015" songs that would have replaced them. (+2 extra not released in 2015 but first charted in 2015.) 101. Grace ft G-Eazy - You Don't Own Me 102. Zedd ft Selena Gomez - I Want You To Know 103. Craig David & Big Narstie - When The Bassline Drops 104. System Of A Down - Chop Suey! 105. Linkin Park & Jay-Z - Numb/Encore
January 2, 20169 yr Whilst I prefer Thank Me Later & Take Care I did enjoy the Drake album. I feel he's been putting a big too much out that sounds the same rather than focusing on one huge album bringing in the big collabs. Chop Suey! Hell of a song that, I think I prefer B.Y.O.B. even more though
January 2, 20169 yr Author Whilst I prefer Thank Me Later & Take Care I did enjoy the Drake album. I feel he's been putting a big too much out that sounds the same rather than focusing on one huge album bringing in the big collabs. Chop Suey! Hell of a song that, I think I prefer B.Y.O.B. even more though  Yeah. I've got to admit all his music recently has sounded very similar but I think that's the sound he's best at. I reckon 2016 is the year he'll release a new massive album with some big collabs. :) Chop Suey really is amazing. I can't say I've heard anything else by System Of A Down though. I need to check more of theirs out. The top 100 starts now Top 100 of 2015!!! Edited January 2, 20169 yr by RobinJuanPersie
January 2, 20169 yr Author 100. Ed Sheeran - Bloodstream My Peak: 08 Chart Run: 15-8-16-(x3)-16 (4 weeks) Official Peak: 02 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =120 Lyric: So tell me when it kicks in. Orq_75kFi8I Comment: It's the solo version without Rudimental that charted after Sheeran's brilliaint BRIT's performance. I got bored quickly explaining the short run. 99. Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams My Peak: 04 Chart Run: 5-6-4-5-7-9 (6 weeks) Official Peak: 40 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: 43 Lyric: Standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset. IdneKLhsWOQ Comment: I do like this but it finished way too high up in my points chart. The video is great, I probably should have listened to this more than I did. 98. Mumford & Sons - Believe My Peak: 06 Chart Run: 17-6-17-16-19 (5 weeks) Official Peak: 20 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =124 Lyric: If I'm gonna have to guess what's on your mind. dW6SkvErFEE Comment: Easily the only Mumford & Sons song I've ever liked. Not as folk-y as the rest of their music and all the better for it. 97. Carly Rae Jepsen - I Really Like You My Peak: 02 Chart Run: 2-7-16-20 (4 weeks) Official Peak: 03 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: 103 Lyric: I need to tell you something. qV5lzRHrGeg Comment: Loved this for a week but it soon got boring. Nice to see she can still get hits in 2015, I never would have said that after Call Me Maybe. 96. Deorro & Chris Brown - Five More Hours My Peak: 03 Chart Run: 3-5-14-17-19 (5 weeks) Official Peak: 04 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =91 Lyric: Come on pour a little more. j3CaHeakZF4 Comment: This is far too hated. It's actually a really fun dance song with a strong instrumental. And that ends the least urban section of my countdown. Edited January 9, 20169 yr by RobinJuanPersie

Rudy and Ed haven't pleased me enough this year though :(
January 2, 20169 yr Author Excellent section there apart from Derrro oops :kink: 4 out of 5 ain't bad at least. What I loved that missed your 100: Ariana Grande ft The Weeknd - Love Me Harder missing it :o Ariana Grande ft Zedd - Break Free  I guess it was charting here for most of 2014 for you Avicii - The Nights  :music: Dr Kucho! & Greogor Salto ft Ane Brun - Can't Stop Playing (Makes Me High) (Oliver Heldens Remix) Foxes - Body Talk Galantis - Peanut Butter Jelly Joe Stone & Montell Jordan - The Party (This Is How We Do It) :music: Justin Bieber - Sorry  Karen Harding - Say Something Mark Ronson ft Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk :nocheer: at this missing Martin Solveig & GTA - Intoxicated :music: New World Sound & Thomas Newson ft Lethal Bizzle - Flutes and this one too :( Oliver Heldens ft KStewart - Last All Night (Koala) :music: Rachel Platten - Fight Song  Ray Foxx ft Rachel K Collier - Boom Boom (Heartbeat) yess this one's great :music: Skrillex & Diplo ft Justin Bieber - Where Are U Now Taylor Swift - Blank Space :o this shouldn't have missed it :snif: Tinie Tempah ft Jess Glynne - Not Letting Go The Chainsmokers - #Selfie love this one :music: The Saturdays - Not Giving Up :D glad I discovered the Cahill remix this year too Years & Years - Desire Zedd ft Selena Gomez - I Want You To Know FMH and IRLY are great :music: Wildest Dreams is quite nice and Bloodstream is good. Rudy and Ed haven't pleased me enough this year though :( Love Me Harder, Break Free & Blank Space all missed out because they were massive in my chart last year. In my 2014 top 100 they finished at 24, 4 & 29 respectively. Uptown Funk & Flutes were very close to making the top 105, especially Flutes. Never heard of that remix of Not Giving Up. Good to see you're liking the start of my chart. Agree with Rudimental & Ed not being great this year, that's why the only entry between them is at 100. Edited January 7, 20169 yr by RobinJuanPersie
January 2, 20169 yr Author 95. 99 Souls ft Destiny's Child & Brandy - The Girl Is Mine My Peak: 05 Chart Run: 16-5-6-6- (4 weeks) Official Peak: 15 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =84 Lyric: Excuse me, can I please talk to you for a minute? BMaT2nGaEVg Comment: A song I first heard in April (way after they posted on Buzzjack) thanks to Dan commenting on my One Hit Wonders thread. I only charted it recently due to its official release. 94. Måns Zelmerlöw - Heroes My Peak: 04 Chart Run: 4-7-18 (3 weeks) Official Peak: 11 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =111 Lyric: The greatest anthem ever heard. -nbq6Ur103Q Comment: One of four Eurovision songs in my countdown this year. A lot better than the 0 that featured last year and the 1 from 2013. This was obviously the winner in Austria but doesn't fair as well here. 93. Tove Lo - Talking Body My Peak: 02 Chart Run: 17-2-7-12 (4 weeks) Official Peak: 17 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: 95 Lyric: Bite me while I taste your fingertips. AzRyxGBGiAE Comment: I didn't like Habits or Heroes but Tove Lo redeemed herself with this one. Great piece of pop which should have had more weeks in my chart than it did. 92. Pharrell Williams - Freedom My Peak: 07 Chart Run: 20-7-8-10-8-15-20 (4 weeks) Official Peak: 36 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: 73 Lyric: Freedom!!! LlY90lG_Fuw Comment: This deserved so much more than fluking into the top 40 on missing streaming data week. Really infectious, serious tune from Pharrell. 91. Blonde ft Melissa Steel - I Loved You My Peak: 09 Chart Run: -12-9-9-11-10-7 (6 weeks) Official Peak: 07 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =50 Lyric: And be a real man to his lady. hqQY9UkGC_A Comment: I was loving this at the start of the year but I haven't heard it in ages. Only stayed so long in my chart due to the lack of January releases. Edited January 3, 20169 yr by RobinJuanPersie
January 2, 20169 yr Author 90. Fleur East - Sax My Peak: 05 Chart Run: 8-5- (2 weeks) Official Peak: 3 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: 123 Lyric: Hold tight, lean back. 3JZ4pnNtyxQ Comment: Terrible video but the song finally grew on me. The "get loose..." bit is definitely the best part of the song. 89. Rae Sremmurd - No Type My Peak: 03 Chart Run: 3-6-14 (3 weeks) Official Peak: 93 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: 102 Lyric: She said "what's your type?" I said I like what I like. wzMrK-aGCug Comment: This is really quite awful but I can't help love it. Shocked Radio 1 are so on board with them as it doesn't sound very commercial. 88. Solo 45 - Feed Em To The Lions My Peak: 07 Chart Run: 10-7-11 (3 weeks) Official Peak: DNC End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: 110 Lyric: No God can save you from me. fNIHoPeu6xU Comment: Amazing. You can't help but move when listening to this song. Listened to this loads this year despite the short run due to me adding it to the only Playlist I ever listen to. I was devastated when this missed the top 100 completely in the Official Chart. 87. Nicki Minaj ft Drake & Lil Wayne - Truffle Butter My Peak: 02 Chart Run: 7-2-12-15 (4 weeks) Official Peak: DNC End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: 90 Lyric: I ain't nothing like your last dude. What's his name? Not important. EUS_ONfxRnQ Comment: This didn't deserve to do as bad as it did in my chart. Drake & Nicki's verses are both great and Wayne's is funny and quotable as ever with his strained voice. Would have done better if it managed to do anything chartwise or I heard it anywhere else than when I searched for it on YouTube. 86. Timmy Trumpet & Savage - Freaks My Peak: 05 Chart Run: 5-5-12-12 (4 weeks) Official Peak: DNC End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =87 Lyric: Close the curtains on them if their acting like they never heard us. fmQxJzhR_48 Comment: 3 songs in a row that didn't manage the official chart. :kink: I first heard this while watching a video on the current Global number ones and I thought that this might crossover to our chart. Judging from the video, Timmy Trumpet has a really punchable face. Edited January 3, 20169 yr by RobinJuanPersie
January 2, 20169 yr Omg Feed Em To The Lions is my clubbing anthem! Lot of love for that. No Type was a marked improvement on No Flex Zone do it at least had that going for it. Freaks was a pretty funny track but it would definitely have got annoying if it went big here.

Freaks was a pretty funny track but it would definitely have got annoying if it went big here. Yes for the Solo 45 love. I'd imagine it would go off in a club. I never liked No Flex Zone either, but I did like Karmin & Watsky remix. I can see where you're coming from with Freaks. It's not one I could listen to repeatedly. Edited January 7, 20169 yr by RobinJuanPersie
January 3, 20169 yr Author 85. Silentó - Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) My Peak: 02 Chart Run: 19-2-6-7-12-16 (6 weeks) Official Peak: 19 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =64 Lyric: Do the stanky leg. (Stank). vjW8wmF5VWc Comment: An unpopular choice but I actually find Watch Me quite fun. It's certainly not brilliant lyrically or otherwise but it still gets in your head. 84. Lethal Bizzle - Going To The Gym My Peak: 01 Chart Run: 5-1- (2 weeks) Official Peak: DNC End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: 109 Lyric: Build up the stamina for motorboating. 5pTPHU2g4Ws Comment: Most inappropriate Christmas number one campaign since K*nt & The Gang? This is fun but like Silento, not a masterpiece. Also my lowest placed number one but it had an obvious disadvantage so I'll let this one off. 83. John Otway - Bunsen Burner My Peak: 03 Chart Run: 3-6-14-19 (4 weeks) Official Peak: 09 (in 2002) End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: =99 Lyric: You're going to turn bright red, when I do my litmus test on you. g7WH4RKKKrw Comment: Just when I was thinking I hadn't charted many random novelty hits of the yesteryear John Otway came out of nowhere with this absolute tune. Found thanks to my One-Hit Wonders thread (plug). Features a brilliant sample of Disco Inferno. 82. Lethal Bizzle & Shakka - Playground My Peak: 08 Chart Run: 13-11-8-10-14-10-17-18 (8 weeks) Official Peak: 79 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: 61 Lyric: I wanna play on your see-saw. 8MFf8LavO6A Comment: Double Bizzle in this section. I don't know what went wrong with this one. Great chorus, good beat and sounds like a hit. Thought this was a nailed on top 40. 81. David Guetta ft Nicki Minaj & Afrojack - Hey Mama My Peak: 04 Chart Run: 11-5-4-8-11-19 (6 weeks) Official Peak: 09 End-Of Year Points Chart Finish: 60 Lyric: I come first like debutes. uO59tfQ2TbA Comment: I only like the occasional Guetta song, mainly just the ones he does with Nicki, thinking about it. This isn't as good as Turn Me On or Where Them Girls At but it's still the best thing of Guetta this era.
