I didn't ever doubt that! It's bound to be huge, a grower too I think.

I don't think much of it at the moment so I'll take your word that it's a grower!

That gnash song is the eptimone of dull however it's also grown on me too, just hoped there was more oomph instead of it plodding on and on. I wonder if it'll be a #1 or not. I wouldn't personally count it's chances out!

Yeah that's how I'm finding it at the moment, a bit of a plodder!

There's a ridiculous number of new songs they could potentially playlist this week, hopefully we'll get the new adds before Friday as we have been doing, but here are lots of possibilities:

Dua Lipa - Hotter Than Hell

David Guetta feat. Zara Larsson - This One's For You

MNEK - At Night (I Think About You)

Cheat Codes x Kris Kross Amsterdam - Sex

Twenty One Pilots - Ride

Adele - Send My Love (To Your New Lover)

Ariana Grande - Into You

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat. Idris Elba & Anderson .Paak - Dance Off

Kiiara - Gold

Spring King - This Summer

Meghan Trainor - Me Too

Gallant - Talking To Myself

The Chainsmokers Feat. Daya - Don't Let Me Down

Troye Sivan - Talk Me Down

Justin Bieber - Company

Katy B x Kaytandra - Honey

Kaytandra feat. Craig David - Got It Good

Probably won't be supported but who knows:

The Stone Roses - All For One

Reggie 'N' Bollie - New Girl

MØ - Final Song

Probably missed the boat now:

Disciples & David Guetta - No Worries

Foxes - Cruel

Alicia Keys - In Common

Zedd feat. Ke$ha - True Colours

I don't think there's ever been such a big list of possible contenders, be interesting to see how many of those they go for.

There's plenty of time for In Common, it's not been out that long! :heehee:

Frans could be added, a Moopy poster apparently suggested it would be playlisted after Eurovision but I'm not sure how reliable this person is as I don't post there :kink: but it's not unrealistic despite the Eurovish tag, considering its success so far.

TOTD for Wed 18th May

Dua Lipa - Hotter Than Hell

Shaping up to be her first hit, and deservedly so. Almost certain to be playlisted this week.

^^ I thought Cheat Codes and David Guetta would have been definites this week but clearly not! A bit of a disappointing update really.

It looks like Bieber's gone straight to B-list though, wouldn't have called that :o

Ohhh can that be told from the placing?

Yeah! HDD post the new adds alphabetically by artist, so "Company" seems to be added to the B-list because of Justin Bieber's placement.

Anyway, a huge yes for Dua Lipa! :yahoo: And the fact that it's TOTD today is great as well.

Oh right, thought so! Very odd they didn't just add him to the C list earlier? It isn't doing well enough to be going straight onto B. Shrug.

Great to see Dua Lipa added.

I really hope Little Mix get a second week on the A list and Kiss it Better is moved up to A. Guessing Close will be binned now which is a shame because his BGT performance is in a week.

Yeah it's very unusual for a post-album single which has already been out for this long to go straight to B-list. They're clearly still very much in love with Bieber right now. This time last year 'Bad Blood' went straight to B-list for Taylor Swift but I think that's only because Kendrick featured on the single version, it wouldn't have happened if the album version had been announced as the single.

Plus Bad Blood shot straight into the top 5 on iTunes (went to #1 didn't it?). Company has been on the Capital playlist for a while and isn't even top 100.

I wonder if it will actually miss the Top 10, after 3 huge singles?

That day has come after all, Radio 1 has lost faith with The Stone Roses.
I'm really loving 'Company' right now, I hope it can do well enough at least but it is a 4th single a long time after the last one and from an album which has already done huge numbers.
