January 9, 20169 yr I'm happy with either of the top 2 winning - WMYB was an insanely successful debut, SOML feels like a genuine hit which appealed to a wider audience than other 1D songs. The Top 10 has been pretty accurate so far, although I don't think I would've put Perfect that high.

It's lyrics appealed to their target audience with such ease and while having a catchy melody that everybody else can enjoy was the perfect choice for their first single. This will always be their signature hit that started a string of successful hits that have forever cemented them into the world of pop. While the runner up song was their 2nd biggest selling hit, it was only right that the winner here is their 1st biggest selling hit, shooting straight to the top of the charts in the UK and with sales of 950,000 copies to date and will one day become a Million seller. January 10, 20169 yr It's not my favourite, but it is a great track and a stormer of a debut single! On a semi related note, over the past couple of days I've really been loving 'More Than This' and would have given it a higher score. And yes, it absolutely should have been released in place of 'Gotta Be You'! (but I've always thought that anyway)
