15 Buzz-Hype charts have been compiled for 2015 and over the next few weeks, we will look at what movies Buzzjack most anticipated over the year by the amount of points each film got and it may be done in a countdown form or not (I'll see how sick of countdowns I am by then!)

However still not started counted yet so don't expect this to start for about a week unless I get loads of Homework done tomorrow :kink: In the mean time hype and predict what Buzzjack anticipated the most in 2015 and submit a chart in the new Buzz-Hype #16!!

Any you shocked about here?

Some great ones in there - Legend, Southpaw, Fast & Furious 7 and Spy in particular.

Hot Pursuit had as many as 37 points? I thought it was probably the worst film I've seen in 2015. Truly horrendous!

31. Vacation- 51 Points (17-02-X)

32. Terminator Genisys- 48 Points (18-X-10-08-16-X)

33. Mad Max: Fury Road- 47 Points (04-09-X)

34. Kingsman: The Secret Service- 47 Points (07-05-X)

35. Knight Of Cups- 46 Points (18-18-13-X-15-16-X)

Kicking off the top 35 is Knight Of Cups which had a lot of hype at the start of the year but has faded due to still no news about the movie in the last few months. Buzzjack favourite Kingsman had some strong hype at the start of the year and Oscar Best Picture nominee Mad Max: Fury Road didn't do as well as I expected but peaked high. Terminator Genisys did quite well surprisingly and Vacation somehow made the top 20 and picked up quite a lot of points :o

Prepare for a big jump in points soon! 26th is on 58 points and 20th is on over 110 points!

26. Pixels- 58 Points (06-10-X)

27. Krampus- 57 Points (01-09-X)

28. The Revenant- 57 Points (15-24-X-15-14-12-17-....)

29. Big Hero 6- 54 Points (11-02-X)

30. Macbeth- 52 Points (05-04-15-X)

Kicking off the top 30 is the latest Shakespeare adaptation Macbeth and went top 5 here, the film was set to be a big Oscar contender but failed to live up to those expectations. Disney animation Big Hero 6 received a strong amount of hype towards the start of the chart and peaked top 2 before release! Oscar Best Picture nominee, box office smash, and still charting here The Revenant picked up a strong 57 points without going top 10. We lose our 1st #1 of the year from shock #1 Krampus which became the first horror, and maybe even first non sequel, to somehow go top! The film looked really good and I still need to see it. And Adam Sandler and crew did well with Pixels here which spent 2 weeks top 10!

Still need to see 'Macbeth'! 'Big Hero 6' and 'The Revenant' are both absolutely fantastic and 'Krampus' was very enjoyable. 'Pixels' I haven't seen and I'm not in any particular rush to do so...
Pixels is actually a lot of fun I thought, I can see why Adam Sandler humour isn't popular but peel that back and the movie concept and visual effects etc. were all really fun. One of his best movies in years imo.

21. The Good Dinosaur- 81 Points [10-X-23-X-04-02-X]

22. Tomorrowland- 79 Points [05-03-03-X]

23. Cinderella- 70 Points [04-10-03-18-X]

24. The Martian- 67 Points [10-06-04-X]

25. Spongebob : Sponge Out Of Water- 65 Points [10-09-04-13-X]

3 of my End Of Year favourites and some big films fall out just before we enter the top 20! Spongebob kicks off the top 25 with an absolutely terrible film, that is so bad it is really fun and good! The movie did well at the start of the year and peaked at #4! Another movie from the start of the year was Cinderella which also spent 4 weeks top 20 with a peak of #3, I adore the movie so much and it is a fantastic adaptation! The Martian did quite well but in all honesty I was expecting it to do better considering the immense internet hype for it. Probably the 2 most underrated movies of the years- Tomorrowland & The Good Dinosaur- are outside the top 20 at #21 and #22! Tomorrowland spent two weeks at #3 and The Good Dinosaur couldn't repeat Inside Out's success for Pixar and peaked at #2! Both thee movies are incredible and did quite well here!

Gigantic point gap coming up as #20 is on 113 points- 32 points more than #21!!

=15. Ant-Man- 123 Points (16-11-09-X-14-11-06-05-15-X)

=15. Avengers: Age Of Ultron- 123 Points (06-03-01-02-X)

=15. Joy- 123 Points (19-X-22-12-11-14-04-04-....)

18. Deadpool- 122 Points (08-X-08-06-13-09-X-08-....)

19. Batman Vs Superman- Dawn Of Justice- 120 Points (15-11-11-15-11-15-02-....)

20. Sinister 2- 113 Points (09-19-X-X-X-X-19-X-07-03-X)

Big point jump as dreadfully reviewed horror Sinister 2 was highly anticipated on here and peaked at #3! Surprised it wasn't the highest horror peaking movie in the weekly charts but think it is the highest in the EOY! Superhero heavy section with the first of the movies being the Batman vs Superman team up which spent 3 weeks at 11 and 3 weeks at 15 before finally vaulting to #2 on the last chart of the year! Expect the movie to appear very high here next year as it was top 2 again last week. The first of 3 Marvel movies are at #18 for Ryan Reynolds outing as Deadpool which is out next month. The movie has peaked at #6 so far and has had a very long chart-run. The other 2 movies come joint 15th as Ant Man and Avengers 2 pick up the same amount of points. Ant-Man spent 8 weeks top 20 with a peak of #5 and Avengers spent 4 weeks top 6 and spent a week at the top, the only chart topper in this section. And Joy also makes the top 15 after having a long chart-run with members (such as myself) charting it regularly from when the trailer was released. The movie had a good run and peaked at #4 in 2015 (reached #3 in 2016) and despite not doing great at the Oscars and Awards, I loved the movie

11. Ted 2- 156 Points (05-06-17-12-12-05-07-04-X)

12. Jurassic World- 146 Points (03-X-X-09-01-01-X)

13. Suicide Squad- 137 Points (11-05-12-09-10-14-18-07-....)

14. Trainwreck- 126 Points (13-10-13-X-14-12-07-04-08-X)

Loved comedy Trainwreck was highly hyped on here and spent a long time in the top 10 and did great here! Expecting it to have a strong showing at the Buzzjack Awards. Despite still being half a year off, Suicide Squad has had a very successful 2015 and just missed the top 10, the movie has spent a few weeks top 10 and I am incredibly hyped for it, the movie looks amazing. Jurassic World is the only film to spend multiple weeks at #1 in the chart that has missed the top 10! The movie started quite slow actually but did well in the end and spent 4 weeks top 10. And just missing the top 10 is Ted 2 which spent 5 weeks top 7 and peaked at #4, very good for a movie that bombed at the box office and wasn't very popular.

THE TOP 10

Pitch Perfect 2

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

06. Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials- 184 Points (17-X-X-X-10-11-10-15-07-05-05-03-X)

07. Minions- 171 Points (12-13-20-03-06-01-04-13-X)

08. Spectre- 168 Points (20-17-14-13-11-09-06-07-02-20-16-X)

09. Finding Dory- 165 Points (11-07-19-03-13-X-14-07-03-....)

10. Dark Places- 159 Points (13-14-18-12-17-06-04-08-15-19-X)

Kicking off the top 10- and mostly due to points from the two Jack's and Heezus Froot- is the movie adaptation of Gillian Flynn's novel Dark Places which ended up getting a tiny release. However the movie stayed around here for ages and peaked at #4, as well as spending 3 weeks top 10! Next up is a movie that surely could be a contender for top next year, Pixar's sequel to Finding Nemo with Finding Dory! I am so excited for the movie as I adore the original and the movie already made a strong impact in 2015 by spending 2 weeks at 3! Spectre never took off on here as much as I expected and surprisingly missed the top spot considering it is one of the biggest movies of all time in the UK. Despicable Me spin-off Minions did great here and is the only movie to hit the top spot here, a fun movie and I'm hyped for Despicable Me 3! And last in this section is young-adult sequel Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials which got nearly 200 points and peaked at #3, also spending 6 weeks in top 10!

TOP 5

Fantastic Four

Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

Inside Out

Pitch Perfect 2

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Predictions?

I still don't even know what Dark Places is lol, top 10 here

I was well hyped for Maze Runner but it ended up being a disappointing zombie movie :/

Minions exceeded my expectations though, was really funny in places

Don't get me wrong, minions are about as overrated as Sam Smith and the like in the chart, but when "forced" (not really lmao) to watch it I didn't find it that bad :o

Not planning on watching it again any time soon tho

'Minions' was terrible. Absolutely awful. I was so pumped for it, due to them being the highlight of the DM films, but I guess they're the prime example of "less is more". 'Maze Runner' took me by complete surprise, again! I don't think I'll enjoy the third one as much due to being so hyped for it, but the with this one I liked the first but had no expectations still. So was extremely and pleasantly surprised! 'Spectre' was dreadfully average. Really don't rate the Bond films whatsoever!

'Dark Places' looks decent. It's a shame it'll never get a full release :( And of course, we have 'Finding Dory'! The sequel to the greatest film of all time. Well, one of the top 2 anyway! ;D

I'm going to predict 'Pitch Perfect 2' as the winner, with 'Star Wars' 2nd and 'Inside Out' 3rd! (Unless 'Star Wars' nabs it due to being eligible for the charts for longer, thus racking up more points!

05. Fantastic Four- 214 Points (05-06-07-11-09-03-01-02-X)

Lets jump over 30 points from #6 to #5! Into the top 5 as we see one of 2015's most hated and worst reviewed movies hit top 5 in our most anticipated movies! Fantastic Four looked pretty good (in my opniion) from the promotion and the majority of Buzzjack agreed as this spent 7 weeks top 10, including a singular week at #1! I do wish the movie was a lot better as it did seem to have potential before all the on-set production problems and the sequel has been canned unsurprisingly.

This also only missed 4th by 3 points!

Definitely need to watch that one soon, enjoyed the previous films :cheer:
