Although I haven't revisited this much, I still don't think it deserves a negative score, might have something to do with me loving Jennifer Hudson's voice, which I hoped this might get some hype for her but the single didn't exactly set charts alight. The song's message is nothing new, especially from female artists of the day, I think you're a bad guy but I like it (see. StooShe, Taylor Swift, Alexandra Burke) but that's fine, I think this song's great background music.

The first song to tie, with Bieber beating Azalea with twenty-eight "+5"s compared to Azalea's three. WDYM started off great in the Reshuffle peaking at #2, then started sliding down due to overexposure and competing with himself, eventually dropping to the #10 spot, whilst "Sorry" was at #1, uniquely being both the top and bottom of the week. I like the song, mainly the production and vocals, the lyrics don't do a lot for me, not as bad as "Blurred Lines", but still just go with what she's actually saying Justin, it's the best way all around.

Next up is Fergie's ode to L.A., plus her showing off her geography knowledge. Not my cup of tea, and Fergie's never really got me as a .rapper, "Fergalicious" aside. Yeah, I've not got much to say on this one.

Loved L.A.Love for a short period, still a good listen nowadays. Didn't expect her to come back with something so good!

What Do You Mean definitely suffering here due to overexposure, had the cut off even been 3 weeks earlier it may have strayed into a positive final score.

Ed Sheeran has another go at a song about being pissed, the original is one of my favourites from X[/}, however Rudimental in my opinion fail to add anything to the mix instead of dragging out the song to over five minutes and not fitting in with the overall theme of the song.

Yep, Take That will still here for a week in the top 10 in 2015. That's half the first chart of the year out already with Haenow, Sheeran, Trainor & Hozier having already departed. Leaving Ronson/Mars, Goorge, Alesso, Swift & Murs/Lovato left still standing. My opinion of the song has remained from last year, it's a good, yet not great pop song, fine for a taste but not strong enough to make a lasting impression with me. Like that thumbnail for the video tho.

At #70 it's that song from a group made famous from a talent show about "a whole lotta history", no not the good one, One Direction. I kid, the song although pleasant still ranks as quite mediocre but that still puts it above Take That as one fan gave it a "+5" compared to Take That getting none.

You know how sometimes how you here a snippet of a song and it puts you off entirely, that's what I was like when I heard "Shut Up"''s chorus in a mini-chart-rundown. I thought it was base and unoriginal probably inspiring annoying teenagers to say "Shut Up" in cockney accents continuosly (which probally isn't irritating if you in fact do live near London). However, on full listen I realise that wasn't even a chorus, just a set-up for Stormzy's bars which are on point and full of personality taking us back to where rap started, not overproduced and littered with the same themes. So my award for Biggest Grower in 2015 goes to this track.

This was another pleasant surprise as this seemed to flit right out of my head when first hearing it but hearing it again, it's a great EDM club song which is held up with fantastic production. The only downpoints are that it's not that distinctive and Usher's vocals are too overprocessed when they don't really have to be.

Another dance song up next, this one edging out his rival 3-2 in terms of "+5s". Last year this song finished 62nd, however that was a much more combative year with fourty-one more songs to contest against and it finished on a positive score last year of "5". Whilst this song works on the base of a good dance song, it's a bit weak in terms of what the song actually means, which can be true for a lot of generic "uplifting" songs, the production also swamps out Tove Lo's vocals a bit, which is disappointing.

Stormzy as high as #69.

Enjoyed the write up for 'Shut Up' as well, interesting thoughts.

The first of Jess Glynne's songs to fall is her Children In Need ballad "Take Me Home", wow you guys really don't like charity singles do you? This reminds me a bit lyrically of "I'm With You" by Avril Lavigne, the same theme of vulnerability and the wish for someone to protect you. I like the song well enough, it does what's it trying to do with great ease. Glynne finishes higher than Alesso, with a 6-3 score of "+5"s.

Nathan Sykes, Wanted member drops out at #65, members of The Wanted weren't expected to have big solo career's as they didn't spend a lot of time fleshing out personalities in their group, the only most of the public knew about was Max, more because of who he was sleeping with (and now Jay obv.). So Nathan having success looked unpromising, he did however get this solo top 10, which sound to be like a sort of mash-up of Coldplay's "Clocks" and John Legend's "All Of Me", and it did the trick. Whether he can continue to get the hits remains to be seen.

Yet another cover of a dance classic, which has already been done to death. Adds nothing new besides weaker production and less exciting vocals. Not much more to say on this one.
