Welcome to Round 23 of Least Fave Disney Animated Classic and another 2 classics bites the dust, leaving us with the final 10 movies in the running. Firstly "Bambi" gains the highest votes with 6, after a pretty close round overall. This was the 5th Disney released in 1942 and has become one of the best known movies of all time and has been cited in many favourite lists through the years. It originally lost money upon it's first release, because of WWII, but thanks to many re-releases and much love the film has grossed over $267.4 Million Dollars at the box office and still to this day a permanent staple of Walt Disney, and has been cited as his personal favourite movie he's done.

Finishing in 11th place is "Lady and the Tramp" which received 5 votes, released in 1955 and was the 15th Disney Animated feature and again is another much loved classic, costing $4 Million to make and has grossed over $93 Million at the box office.

As for the others, "Pinocchio" surprisingly came close to going, receiving 4 votes, while "Sleeping Beauty" gains 3 votes and "The Jungle Book", ""Beauty and the Beast", "Aladdin" and "The Lion King" each gets 2 votes each. Finally "101 Dalmatians" and "Alice In Wonderland" each gain 1 vote each. Only 2 Disney movies didn't receive any votes.

Honestly thought that this would have been a guaranteed top 10 placement, but oh well and 12th isn't bad at all and it has had a pretty good run. I have always liked this one, as a kid I didn't see it that often, but now as an adult I can find more quality's about it. For starters it is a beautiful well crafted movie with some brilliant songs and a really moving story. I mean come on we all know that really sad scene that happens that just tears everybody up inside. Also the journey that Bambi goes through throughout the movie along with some of the most memorable side characters, such as Thumper who is just adorable and the way the animals move, which goes to show how much effort Walt Disney himself and his team put into this great piece of cinematic treasure.

Again another memorable masterpiece from the golden age of Disney, and so cute and adorable with some stunning animation and a plot that moves along at a brisk pace. Not only that, the craft here is some of Disney’s best. It’s difficult to remember that because of that one memorable spaghetti scene, but everything was handled so delicately. The editing is probably my favorite from the collection, with a lot of transitions happening seamlessly and it flowing so smoothly from beginning to end. So overall a simple story done to such perfection and excellent craft and a well deserved Disney classic.

Right now then we are now down to the top 10, same rules apply just vote for your least fave and the one with the most will be voted out by the next round, which will be on 18th January. So get voting and thanks to everybody for your support so far.

Jungle book, too.

Edit - To be fair that should have been Pinocchio, which I've clearly overlooked for quite a while (though I think it's better than that tramp). Jungle Book would probably be my next choice though.

Pinocchio is the best Disney film in my opinion. They took real time and care over it and made it truly beautiful. It also has the best Disney song in any film in 'When You Wish Upon a Star'...and The Jungle Book has the two next best.

Will vote for Beauty and the Beast again, not that anyone else will probably.

Edit - hadn't voted when I wrote this post so didn't realise how many votes Pinocchio had. Go on, justify that to me! Also very confused by the lack of votes for 101 Dalmations which, although genuine Disney era, is hugely lacking in storyline.
