literally FUMING! ~ i mean, come on, how can that feeble mumford&sons-lite non-entity actually be in contention for a #1? :manson: still there is a lot of streaming data missing which will hopefully redress the balance from this travesty once all present and correct! :arrr:

Are you referencing to Stitches or Love Yourself? If the former, it sounds nothing like Mumford.

You sound like you need to get out more.

Also, shock horror, people DO have different opinions and musical tastes to you. Shocking I know.

I suspected 'Best of Bowie' would be the highest of the compilations in the long run, because as i've said it's the one I see around more often when i'm browsing. It's the one i've been listening to this past week most although I do intend to give the other compilations a listen too. It seems to be the most ~mainstream~ of his hits collections with all filler.

Really glad to see 'Blackstar' still at the top. It's also become Bowie's first US #1 album :o a very fitting tribute to him.

The bulk of streaming that would effect Shawn has been included (Fri/Sat on Spotify). I don't see how you're so worked up about this song being number one, when we've had the same number 1 for weeks and weeks. It is quite similar to a lot of singer-songwriter hits we've had, doesn't include the words 'let's marvin Gaye and get it on' and is quite inoffensive.

This remix of it may be more up your street:

Great to see Zara creep into the Top 40. Is there a particular reason the Nathan Sykes song has rebounded?

There's a new version of the song !!! With Arianna grande ! Wouldn't say that it's flopped though considering it's a re issue of a song that's literally just charted! Happy with Adele this week ! Let's get all I ask to top ten ! 👍👍👍👍

Good second week figure for Bowie - can he break 100k again?

Good to see a change in no1 - welcome to 2016 folks (I am aware it's from a 2015 album btw)!

Oh dear, the first new #1 of 2016 looking likely to be worse than all but 2 of last year's :/

Come on Bieber!

What about the 2CD version of Nothing Has Changed, is it not widely available? I believe its tracklist is very similar to Best of Bowie.

I'm the sort of geek who cares about this stuff, so I've just compared the 2CD Nothing Has Changed with the UK version of Best Of Bowie.

They both have 39 tracks and 31 are the same, give or take minor mix variations, so there are eight tracks exclusive to each:

Songs only on Best Of Bowie:

Suffragette City

John I'm Only Dancing

Diamond Dogs

TVC15

Wild Is The Wind

Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps)

Loving The Alien

Slow Burn

Songs only on Nothing Has Changed:

Moonage Daydream

All The Young Dudes

Thursday's Child

Everyone Says Hi

New Killer Star*

Love Is Lost (Hello Steve Reich mix edit)*

Where Are We Now?*

Sue (Or In A Season Of Crime)*

The tracks with asterisks were only released after Best Of Bowie so couldn't have been on it anyway.

he didn't say that his opinion was the only one/correct one ^_^

I suspect it's only a matter of time before another Shawn Mendes song starts to do very well in the charts "I Know What You Did Last Summer"

OMG, History finally Top 5 and might get a new peak of #4. :cheer: :cheer:

But also a huge drop for the album, hope it rise some positions till Friday.

yessss shawn!!! what a bæ

for real stitches is everything love yourself wants to be

History by One Direction is having a really steady chart run, probably one of their most stable performances in the singles chart overall, i can see history sticking around for a while building up good sales.
Im glad to have something that sounds a bit different, craig davids song is really good!
