£2.50 each way Armenia @ 22/1

£2.50 each way Bulgaria @ 40/1

I will be putting one more on as well, on Sweden, but I have a feeling the price may increase a little bit tomorrow (as it decreased today following France's underwhelming rehearsal to only 12/1 on the bookies I use), so will just hold back on them for the moment.

UK odds have slashed!

Done my bets for the year, saving any last minute additional ones, I've got:

 

£10 on Sweden at 14/1

£1.50 EW on Serbia at 33/1

£1 EW on Iceland at 80/1

 

Sweden is a way of guaranteeing I get something good out of it if Frans wins, Serbia is a gut feeling in my waters and Iceland is just too good value to pass up.

Currently got (these are all from back in March mind you, I should have waited to put a Sweden bet on but there was no indication it'd DROP back then and Azerbaijan looks a bit silly now, it's down to 66/1, in fact I can currently get better odds for all three of these :/):

 

£4 EW on Sweden 9/1

£2 EW on Bulgaria 25/1

£2 EW on Azerbaijan 14/1

 

I'll probably put a few more on this week. Iceland and Armenia look like good shouts for outsiders.

Shame for Amir dropping but as long as he goes top 10 I will be happy, this would be a great result for France :)

I've wondered about Bulgaria I.e. Why's is it drifting since it's had a positive response from the press? I put a tenner on Sweden when he went to 18/1, glad I did now. I think the bookies are struggling to predict this since the odds are proper yo-yo'ing.

Well the bookies are just people really so I'd wager they're just being as indecisive as everybody else. The big test/bookies might start to make their mind up more will be vased on what storms the iTunes/Spotify charts out of the Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Defo. It's just odd how this was on par with Sweden on the odds one week ago. What did Poli do to upset the bookies so much to drift to 40/1 plus. I just need her to qualify if anything else!

Good to see the UK's odds shortening so much, if we come bottom five again this year then it's completely undeserved, a great anthemic pop song well sung and with what looks to be quite a strong performance. It seems to be doing far better what Denmark, Lithuania and Ireland are also trying to do so I hope that's reflected in the voting.

Oh I feel like it's going to turn into a Russia VS Ukraine battle with political votes being even stronger than usual considering the context !

In general, i think the entries are very weak this year and i really cannot see anyone beating Russia at this point.

I can't see 1944 doing anywhere near as well as that. In fact I'm confused as to why Ukraine are so high up at all this late on in the game.

France will flop hard, as will UK whucg always fwts short odds thanks to people betting on it throygh patriotism. Australia will win or come no.6. Mark my words.

I'd love Armenia to somewhat dark horse it, but I do think for a win it is likely to be Russia. Whilst i like the song it is still baffling it's doing so well as people have said so many times! It's like something that Sweden would do just ok with 10-15 years ago :lol: Compared with contemporary songs like Sound Of Silence, J'ai cherché, If I Were Sorry and Walk On Water it just seems odd but I do think it's most likely by far given how things are looking.

 

Jamala is sure to give a striking performance of what an intensely emotional song, I think it will connect and therefore do well but not top 2. I think top 10 but lower half.
