Basically, shuffled a few things around, joke songs at the bottom because they'll get points but they won't be winning. Outsiders is so far ahead because I'm convinced now, Sanctuary hasn't had quite as good a reception but is still in the mix, Monody has been getting so much attention that I have to put it second and Kazaky sounds like a hit to me. The ones just below the line all sound like big hits to me too, not sure I'd call them as a winner unless we went for an upset.

Gah, I'd be calling it the sort of pop that belongs firmly in the traditional pop mould, especially with the style it presents itself, no indie has such a big, unrestrained synthy chorus, it's not even indie in the very stretched Marina/Halsey sense. It's only indie in one sense, it isn't a real-world hit.

 

In that, in this contest, I'd actually ONLY expect it to get points from pop-leaning posters. Possibly more than any other song in this contest bar maybe 'Shattered' and 'Better Off'.

'Outsiders' sits as a clear leading contender but there's a few challengers. Namely Danaelanda, plus Aeroche/Klum Rep (another formulaic dance track (feat. euphoric breakdown) winning is always a possibility). I've got Nimmo as the dark horse, and that Kazaky song is excellent and *sounds* like a contender though i'm not sure I have enough faith in the bjsc voters to take it all the way

 

I hope the 'formulaic dance track' comment refers to just Klum's entry (no shade) and not mine/leww's. -_-
