August 16, 200618 yr [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAcqlaTmjhA.swf Look at her VT and look at her now - she's been on such a journey. Far more than Glyn.
August 16, 200618 yr I still don't see the impression being anything like Grace and it was far from the funniest moment in BB ever. Fake Richard was talking about himself being 'in your face' coz he's more than Grace ever was - opps on letting that slip.
August 16, 200618 yr It was ANNOYING. How on Earth can you you call that funny ? I'm with you. I find the faces and voices too contrived and OTT to be funny. He's like Jim Carrey or Russell Brand without the wit. He's a nice guy, and he can be quite quick, but I don't find his diary room visits funny at all. When Jennie asked 'Do you love me?' and Pete said 'I daren't say no', that was truly funny. The disco made me cringe.
August 16, 200618 yr * Lea 1 Richard 2 Nikki 3 Pete 4 Aisleyne 5 Jennie * Imogen * Mikey * Grace 6 Glyn I also included where last week's evictees would have been. Lea.
August 16, 200618 yr well said, Tim. Pete, I think, ruined his chances with that pie-in-the-sky c**p about his friend coming down from heaven telling him he was going to win - sorry, Pete, that was a desperate appeal for votes. Or it was the after-effects of all that nasty ketamine. It didn't work - quite the opposite, in fact. i dont think for 1 moment that it was a contrived appeal for votes... the guy clearly doesnt give a damn..

Far more than Glyn. been on a journey?... ffs shes supposed to be an ADULT woman! dont you lot get it yet? SHES PLAYING A GAME...ITS AN ACT! <_< pretending to be ghetto n hard, changing her personality now twice!.... as the most machaivalien she has played her game plan pretty well, suckering in thousands who obviously cant see through her!
August 16, 200618 yr FAKE FAKE FAKE. He knows what he's doing with his little faces and his looks into the camera. He's probably playing the biggest game in there. 'I had a dream that my friend camedown and told me i would win, if i dont i wont believe in heaven anymore' (or something along those lines) - oh come on, if people can't see that as a desperate plea for votes, then they need to go see a doctor. I agree, Pete is special - but he plays on it a bit. you clearly have no understanding of tourettes.... <_<
August 16, 200618 yr Eh he didn't say he had a dream last night, he's been talking about his friend since the show started as he had it before he went into the house. <_< And was talking about in the latest episode coz' he was talking about the final night with Dicky. It's Pete - we've seen him be honest for weeks. Do you really think he'd use the death of his friend which he witnessed when he was a teenager to talk some c**p on a TV show? His point was his friend said he'd win and if it wasnt true he'd have no faith in afterlife and that worried him. at least theres someone here who understands the situation.... well said david.
August 16, 200618 yr you clearly have no understanding of tourettes.... <_< His Tourette's makes him twitch, swear and cough. His Tourette's does not make him dance to the YMCA in a comical way. It doesn't make him put on the mockney accent or stroke his chin or say 'easa manna'. That's his sense of humour - it has nothing to do with the syndrome. This Times article says it better than I can: here Coolnav's post does not mention his Tourette's at all. Edited August 16, 200618 yr by Tim

It doesn't matter that she's an adult. Her teenage years were very difficult (being made homeless by her mother, being refused contact with her father) so a little arrested development is forgivable. How is she playing a game? You keep saying it's obvious. If it's obvious, explain how she's doing it. Without referring to her test score (which was explained in a different way by the psychologist who devised the test on Monday's Big Brain), give us any examples.
August 16, 200618 yr Friday night's positions in brackets: 1 (4) Aisleyne 2 (2) Pete 3 (3) Jennie 4 (5) Glyn 5 (1) Nikki 6 (6) Richard
August 16, 200618 yr Salient bits of that article: Generally, Tourette’s is characterised by uncontrollable bodily motor tics, coupled with vocal tics — nonsensical sounds, not expletives. These tics are unpredictable, unstoppable and utterly devoid of purpose. Tourette’s is a pointless condition. Pete in Big Brother has the swearing variety except, curiously, his repertoire consists of just one word: w****rs. His bodily and vocal tics are mild. However, anyone watching him might believe that (his) Tourette’s is far more all-encompassing than I have described. But talking in “funny†voices, switching from Cockney to received pronunciation in the same breath, gesticulating, pulling hilarious faces and lacking the ability ever to get to the end of a sentence are not symptoms of Tourette’s but just characteristics of Pete.
August 16, 200618 yr It was good the first time he said it <3...but after about the 5th time it was like, yeah get some new material =/.
August 16, 200618 yr at least theres someone here who understands the situation.... well said david.. Yaaayy, I'm glad people are starting to not like Pete a bit. He's truly the WORST -_- .

That's a good point. Being outrageous and pitching himself as a comedian stops him being a victim. He has grown on me a lot. He's now my second favourite.

Yes and he uses them characteristics because he uses humour to makehimself seem more fun in the same way some people use humour to stop bullying. I read an article were one time 400 people were shouting abuse at him - thats bullying. Him using his humour is like ALL humour: some people like it. Some people don't. I wish people would stop being so hard on that, when it's a defence mechonism and hes admitted he does it because he has low confidence. Why low confidence - because people point, stare and whisper because at him even in the streets because he has tourettes which hes come on TV & proved is nothing major! At least when he leaves BB people wont go "what the hell is that guy doing standing there being obcene -they'll go - oh it's Pete from Big Bro" and treat him like a person. If you didnt like the diary room - well done. Other people have liked it. At least he actually made an attempt to entertain people. Imagine they'd stuck Imogen in there...or Mikey or another housemate. It wouldn't have been anywhere near as active. It certainly not wrong not to enjoy watching him but it's not right questioning him trying to use comedy to cope with stuff he cant control.
August 16, 200618 yr It wasn't funny. Nikki's was good. Pete's Nikki impression wasn't good, nor funny (not suprising) Richard should've done his Lisa impression again.
