Biography

Justin Drew Bieber (/ˈbiːbər/; born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Bieber's current manager, Scooter Braun, first discovered him through his YouTube videos in 2007. Braun, as noted, was impressed with the videos resulting in contacting Bieber's mother, Patricia Mallette, about wanting to work with his musical abilities. Moreover, him having convinced his mother, Braun arranged for Bieber to meet with singer-songwriter, Usher, in Atlanta, Georgia. As a result, Bieber was signed to RBMG, a record label based in Atlanta, then to Island Records -- part of Def Jam Records -- with a recording contract offered by a prominent record executive, L.A. Reid.

He released his debut EP, My World, in November 2009. It has been certified platinum in the United States. He became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Bieber released his first full-length studio album, My World 2.0, in March 2010. It debuted at or near number one in several countries and was certified platinum in the United States. It was preceded by the single, "Baby", which is also, as of July 2014, the YouTube video with the most dislikes, and the most views on a Vevo platform. He followed up the release of his debut album with his first headlining tour, the My World Tour, the remix album titled, My Worlds Acoustic, and Never Say Never – The Remixes, and the 3D biopic-concert film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. Bieber released his second studio album, Under the Mistletoe, in November 2011 when it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Bieber released his third studio album, Believe, in June 2012.

He has received numerous industry awards, including both Artist of the Year Awards at the 2010 American Music Awards, and the 2012 American Music Awards. He has been nominated for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 53rd Grammy Awards. With his growing national and international fan base, they have been dubbed "beliebers" who largely consist of early to mid-adolescent women. He has millions of "followers" on Twitter and other social media accounts. He has been listed three times by Forbes magazine as one of the top ten most powerful celebrities in the world in 2011, 2012, and 2013. - Wikipedia

Discussion Thread Here

It sounds to me that they say "I hate this glove".

Shame this only song 2 of 3 of Bieber in the top 10 :(

Sorry is by far the best of the three Bieber tracks.

I am absolutely furious at Jonas Blue outpeaking the original Fast Car.

'Sorry' hasn't got at all boring for me, even if 'What Do You Mean?' has kind of worn a bit. it's just so excellent.

Sorry :/

Sorry>>>

Completely fell in love with this Fast Car remix over the last few days, great track and hope it can hit #1 at some point

Biography

Up-and-coming, London based producer, Jonas Blue is releasing a dramatic reimaging of Tracy Chapman’s classic song ‘Fast Car’. Teaming up with, incredible young vocal talent, Dakota, Blue has swapped the original’s lilting guitar for an upbeat tropical house sound.

21 year old Jonas Blue has been busy perfecting his craft as a producer, spending time collaborating in studios in L.A, Stockholm and London. Blue takes his musical cues from pop and classic dance music, as well as from the Tropical House sounds of producers such as Felix Jaehn, Lost Frequencies and Kygo.

His latest single came about when he had the idea to recreate one of his mother’s favourite songs that he remembered hearing on repeat as a child. Crafting the music came naturally to him but the difficult part was finding a voice who had the richness and depth that made the original so special.

On an autumn night in an East London pub however, Jonas heard a unique, bluesy voice coming from the basement. He immediately knew he'd found the singer for his version of Tracey Chapman's classic 'Fast Car', that singer was Dakota. The very next day she was in the studio with him to record the song, and the results were just as he'd hoped for. - Facebook

This version of 'Fast Car' is horrid, everything about it.

Fast Car :music:

The original of Fast Car is much much better.

This isn't nearly as bad as last year's Show Me Love, but it's still not very good. The original is so much better.

I was just going to say that!!! That Show Me Love was my worst of 2015!!!

That was Fast Cars only chance of getting #1. Zayn next week, and Rihanna after that w/ the video

I've never ever heard anyone saying that a cover version was better than the original tbf

(Maybe Pink's Try, but the original was unknown)

It doesn't deserve to outpeak the original. I was hoping that streaming would prevent this from happening
