That was Fast Cars only chance of getting #1. Zayn next week, and Rihanna after that w/ the video

Debatable. It could make it next week - PILLOWTALK might drop a bit Monday.

This Jonas Blue thing actually makes me wish Stitches would stay at #1 a bit longer, lol

I knew this was coming though, the success of Show Me Love/Ain't Nobody indicated that tropical house makeovers of famous tracks were only going to become more prevalent, just a question of what one will be next

What next? A drum 'n' bass cover of "Talking 'Bout A Revolution"?

Biography

Justin Drew Bieber (/ˈbiːbər/; born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Bieber's current manager, Scooter Braun, first discovered him through his YouTube videos in 2007. Braun, as noted, was impressed with the videos resulting in contacting Bieber's mother, Patricia Mallette, about wanting to work with his musical abilities. Moreover, him having convinced his mother, Braun arranged for Bieber to meet with singer-songwriter, Usher, in Atlanta, Georgia. As a result, Bieber was signed to RBMG, a record label based in Atlanta, then to Island Records -- part of Def Jam Records -- with a recording contract offered by a prominent record executive, L.A. Reid.

He released his debut EP, My World, in November 2009. It has been certified platinum in the United States. He became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Bieber released his first full-length studio album, My World 2.0, in March 2010. It debuted at or near number one in several countries and was certified platinum in the United States. It was preceded by the single, "Baby", which is also, as of July 2014, the YouTube video with the most dislikes, and the most views on a Vevo platform. He followed up the release of his debut album with his first headlining tour, the My World Tour, the remix album titled, My Worlds Acoustic, and Never Say Never – The Remixes, and the 3D biopic-concert film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. Bieber released his second studio album, Under the Mistletoe, in November 2011 when it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Bieber released his third studio album, Believe, in June 2012.

He has received numerous industry awards, including both Artist of the Year Awards at the 2010 American Music Awards, and the 2012 American Music Awards. He has been nominated for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 53rd Grammy Awards. With his growing national and international fan base, they have been dubbed "beliebers" who largely consist of early to mid-adolescent women. He has millions of "followers" on Twitter and other social media accounts. He has been listed three times by Forbes magazine as one of the top ten most powerful celebrities in the world in 2011, 2012, and 2013. - Wikipedia

Biography

A teen pop artist who broke records with his debut single, singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. After posting a series of his cover versions to various video-sharing sites, Mendes earned himself a dedicated following of viewers. His mix of Ed Sheeran's style and Justin Bieber's also appealed to Island Records, who signed Mendes in 2014. That same year they released the then-15-year-old's debut single "Life of the Party." American radio initially ignored it, but the track entered the Billboard 100 singles chart at number 24, making Mendes the youngest artist to land a debut single in the Top 25. The song was also included on Mendes' four-track Island debut, The Shawn Mendes EP. The EP performed very well, reaching number five on the Billboard charts on its way toward sales of over 100,000, setting the stage for his full-length debut, Handwritten, in the spring of 2015. Preceded by the single "Something Big," Handwritten appeared to strong sales, debuting at number one in both Canada and the U.S. In 2015, his single "Believe" landed on the soundtrack for the Disney Channel fantasy musical Descendants. - iTunes

Just praying that PILLOWTALK isn't number one next week :D Really hate it.

Thank god Stitches is still no.1, such a good song.

So glad to see Stitches get a 2nd week at #1, still absolutely adore it

Yay Shawn!!!!! :cheer: :cheer:

Love Yourself is really irritating now - but Stitches is great

I wish 'Love Yourself' would start sliding soon, it's so plain.

Haven't heard Pillowtalk, but Zayn is really an annoying idiot so I hope he misses #1 for that reason. Unless the song is excellent of course.

Love Yourself and Stitches are both good, but neither is great.

Love Yourself is really a bland song.

I don't like Love Yourself and I like all Ed Sheeran songs.

This version of 'Fast Car' is horrid, everything about it.

It sounds superficially good but pales in comparison to Tracy's original. In fact it sucks the life and meaning out of the song.
