February 7, 20169 yr Author Looking at doing more Nordic countries I have come across an act called "Skandi Girls", who had a Top 40 hit with "Do The Can Can" at Christmas 2004. The last Virgin book says "Swedish/Norwegian/Finnish female vocal group". I am happy with the last three words but can find nothing to corroborate their nationalities or a simple list of members. I would at a guess say Canada's more prolific than Sweden (well especially so in the last year but we've never really been short of them). But they may well be on a similar level to Ireland and Australia. France or Germany might be up there too but it's really quite incredible how big Sweden on the music scene next to the countries you'd expect the British public to regularly buy into.
