Agreeing with the last few there. Apart from WDYM. I would place it a fair bit higher ;) :music:

Yeah there are a lot of songs that could have been a lot higher provided on what year they were made in - this year had loads of good songs.

Like all these on this page, the Bieber track & Fifth Harmony in particular!

Really would have liked 5H to get to number one officially. Shame it didn't happen, can't see them having another hit.

Reading this is getting a bit painful. "Let It Go" (James Blegh) and "Something I Need" (Ben Whonow) being good? No baby no

On "Worth It":

THIS. A MILLION TIMES.

Karen Harding - Say Something

Chart peak- 7

Karen Harding is a great vocalist, and combining that with a really enchanting house/dance/can't really decide beat makes a great bop. Literal head bang stuff. In my opinion this was one of the best years for dance songs, so many great songs like this one and the likes of Tchami and Philip George breaking onto the scene. A great tune, and some of the catchiest lyrics of the year.

RITA ORA - Poison

Chart peak- 3

She picks her poison and it's you. This quite irritating chorus are redeemed by a really nice 'oooooh' directly after, but overall, this song is great - some nice backing music, and the verses (especially verse 3) are really nice and show the best of RITA. It peaked at number 3 - but could have easily been a number one in my eyes.

Worth It is absolutely dreadful. :puke2: I do hope I never have to hear of them again after that.

Worth It and Poison almost made my top 40 and Say Something was a minor hit in my top 40. Still going great

Stevie McRorie - Lost Stars

Chart peak- 6

This song is a really great track which reminds me of Snow Patrol for some reason - he's got a really chilled voice and it's a shame he probably won't have another top 10. I'd have liked this to have had a bit of a better chart run, though.

Lost Stars? More like 'Lost In Time' can't even remember how it goes but I don't remember loving it or else I'd've remembered it :')

Sam Smith ft. John Legend - Lay Me Down

Chart peak- 1

The song notoriously hated by many on Buzzjack ranks relatively high in my list. Even though Sam Smiths vocals aren't that great, I still enjoyed this song on th whole and thought the feature of John Legend was a good idea. The chorus was actually quite catchy and out of all the ballads that have been hits in previous years, this is probably one of my favourites. Sorry, Buzzjack.

One of Sam Smith's worst oop.

I don't really mind most of his music apart from this and the Spectre track, apart from massive overplay/rated.

What's happened to Rita Ora, she used to be so good, ever since that Calvin Harris incident/break up, her material has just got rubbish, "I Will Never Let You Down", was her last decent song. "Poison" was so forgettable and "Body On Me" was dull and flopped everywhere. Even her collaborations aren't very good, including the Charli XCX one, which was just boring.

Also what's happening with her 2nd album, it's been 4 years now since her debut, and countless supposed lead singles, it's not looking good so far, I reckon when the album eventually gets released, it will probably tank and won't be very good either. Then she'll probably fade from the spotlight, unless something incredible happens.

Maybe, but if she's still a judge on whatever talent show, she's bound to get decent exposure from that.

ewwwwuwurghghghghghghhgggghh at Lay Me Down Chart Murderers Remix :puke:

the countdown can only really get better from here on.
