Gays Gone Wild has long been a firm favourite of mine.

The main issue I can see with GGW is that it uses the iconic intro from Act Of Contrition and you expect some kind of hard hitting, gritty Madonna of old type affair and in drop the cheapest, tinniest fake beats instead. I, for one, ADORE IT in all it's spazzy, nonsense, granny pissed off her head at a wedding glory. I can see her performing it at 90 with GUSTO (and several labiaplasty surgeries later).
Hardly surprising.

About as much as that pathetic and unwanted comment from you, but if the shoe fits...

I see so much confusion and it's killing me

Next up, and with quite a few more points than the last one we have the album track from 'Like A Virgin' which actually stands out on the album as one of the more slower, tender moments but it seems you have no time for it. With quite lovely verses i'm shocked it found its way here, but perhaps the lack of a solid chorus was enough to make people dislike it - or am I missing something? The refrain of "shoo-bee-doo" is a little uninspired and lazy but she's had far worse. I don't love it, but i'm fairly indifferent to it but I'm sure you'll all enlighten me as to why this is so hated. Regardless of the reasons, you have spoken and have named 'Shoo-Bee-Doo' the 8th worst Madonna song to date :mansoncheer:

Obviously not a Madge classic but I was also agog to see it in this at all, it's quite cute and breezy. Nothing to despise.
10 years ago I could probably have thought 'yeah, that's a fair call' but for a song which is AT WORST average be in the mix for her very worst is just stupidity. Like I say, up to Confessions it was definitely down there with her weaker efforts, but it's really quite sweet and at least has some merit, unlike a sadly ever increasing proportion of her output in the last decade. Shame on you, Buzzjack, once again.
Results going well 3/4 rated best from my top 10.
Heard the first 2 seconds and was tempted to turn it off just for that  was disappointed to find out that that was not the end of the shooby dooby doobying :/
Well, in a song called Shoo Be Doo I'd be wager the odds of that being a key feature are fairly high.

07. Spanish Lesson / 68 points

The second song to feature from 'Hard Candy' and dropping out at 7th, is for me, the ghastly, monstrous 'Spanish Lesson'. Merging the drumming production of the album, with a frankly absurd lyrical exploration of Spanish, teaching, love and sex. It's a bizarre song in so many ways and in none of those ways is it enjoyable or effective. The middle-8 is perhaps the lowlight of the song but it's all pretty unforgivable. Totally useless as a song and a well deserved feature of Buzzjack's worst Madonna songs to date. It's certainly TOP for me, but i'll settle for 7th place because I know it has its fans~ :mansoncheer:

Yeah, 'Spanish Lesson' is really bad. I don't know why I didn't put it higher on my list. Jolty guitar melody worked fantastically for 'Don't Tell Me' but it's just so unpleasant on this, not to mention the irritating, piss weak vocals. "If you do your homework / Baby I will give you more" is also potentially the worst lyric ever, especially when you hear it when looking at the ghastly artwork cover.

'Shoo Be Doo' is not deserving of being here. Certainly not "bad" by any degree of the word and I don't think you could even settle for being "offensively bland" or anything like that.

John hit the nail on the head in regards to 'Girl Gone Wild': it's geared up to be something special but that just slips further and further away till you hit the chorus which just takes "non-event" to a whole different meaning. She looks good in the video at least.

'Candy Shop' should be awful and I hate the fact I like it. :P I mean, "my sugar is raw" is enough to make a grown man weep.

I am baffled that the offensive / divisive 'Act of Contrition' didn't make it here over the totally inoffensive 'Shoo-Bee-Doo' all of the songs I like in this top 10 I can see why they could be hated by others, but I fail to see it for that (and I'm not even that big a fan of it!).
