Is Adele going to spent more weeks at #1 with her latest boring ballad. Please say it isn't so.

Maybe, depending on if her performance on the Brits is any good.

Finally heard that Lukas Graham track, I don't think its anything special, but I can see the appeal of it... at least its better than the current #1 track I suppose.

Typical last year it was going so well, with a few back to back great songs till Sam Smith and John Legend got 2 weeks at #1. It seems new music has gone a bit off colour.

Am I alone in thinking 2016 has gotten off to a perfect start with #1s? Love Yourself, Stitches and PILLOWTALK are all excellent songs and 7 Years will join them for sure when it eventually gets there, as would Fast Car if it manages to sneak a week.

Maybe not alone, but probably in the minority. I've not heard "Pillowtalk" yet and don't care if I never hear the other two again.

7 Years would be the best #1 so far this year as... it's not by someone who originally got into the music industry because of their looks (as much as Bieber and Zayn may have progressed slightly beyond that). And like, easily on quality too.

Against The Current top 200?! :o Snapshotting this moment.

All the #1's so far this year have been fairly similar and from what I've heard 7 Years fits that too. Ideally, there'd be more variety but that'll come. A repeat of the Get Lucky/Blurred Lines summer would be most welcome!

In 10/15 years time, nobody will care that the likes of Lean On, Can't Feel My Face, Hotline Bling or Trap Queen weren't chart toppers - a classic is a classic no matter where it charts.

The #01's this year haven't been very good at all  Love Yourself sounds like an Uncle Kracker song and Stitches is a bit of a cringe-fest. PILLOWTALK is alright I suppose.

PILLOWTALK and alright don't belong in the same sentence.

82. Jay Sean feat. Sean Paul - Make My Love Go

Sounds like a mix of 'Sorry' and Shaggy's 'I Need Your Love'. Real hit potential, the sort of song the UK would love!

Zayn down to @3 now
