After the VMAs it should go to #2 :yahoo:

Hopefully...also now that she is not performing first, I hope she doesn't get too stressed out from other artists performances and do a mediocre one!!

What time is her performance of make me? I guess it will be early hours uk time. Is there anywhere I could stream it or have to wait until the morning or sometime when it gets uploaded?
It starts at 2am UK time so some time after that! It will be available to stream somewhere, I normally stream the whole thing :heehee:
When we will find out when she's on? We don't want her closing, that's the worst slot.
I don't think she'll close, especially now that Beyonce has been confirmed as performing.

#2 on iTunes.

#33 on US Spotify

Underwhelming but for the most part stagnant radio.

Video not getting many views but the VMAs performance might count, as Jay suggested.

Do we think there's a chance of Make Me re-peaking this week?

I'd be very pleased with about #14/#15 at this point. Even if it fell again the next week, I think it'd be enough to call this a hit. I'm sure it'll manage Gold status, and like Work Bitch maybe platinum over time.

If it manages to stay top 3 on iTunes and continue to rise on Spotify we could scrape top ten thanks to VEVO uploading the performance so promptly. This is definitely positive thinking, but it isn't out of reach. If she performed again on a nightly show or something we would definitely get top ten.

It will most definitely repeak.

I am so glad this has had a big resurgence. It's had a similar one for me - i've been loving it since day one but it got overtaken by a number of new songs that got released but i'm now back into it fully all over again. A true STATEMENT song to show she still has the power to move and entice listeners. It deserves every last bit of success it gets <3

Make Me is still #2 but it's updates are now neutral. Don't expect it to stay top 3 past Wednsday.

Do Facebook links count towards streaming if they are from MTV? Because the official MTV fb video is almost at 4 million views already, while the vevo link is about to surpass 2 million views...

She's got a new peak on US Spotify of #22. So if the performance at VMA's counts for streaming also and KWORB has predicted 95k sales then she should move into the top 20 again? Radio would really help a new peak. They need to sort it out.

Just had some downtime and checked his Make Me was doing and saw it had stabilised at #2 on iTunes selling at a 16,000 rate. Also ASTONISHED to see the song at #22 US and furthermore at #51 globally. If she can sneak into the top 50 globally tomorrow that will mean she'll have a huge boost everywhere including the UK.

Britney is also performing live from Vegas on Thursday on the Today show!

Yes it is good to see a positive update again but remember that the VMA's was Sunday night and it probably helped stations spin it more yesterday. Might be short term might be long term, we will see.If it keeps getting positive updates the next few days.If it does, then it will be time to get excited.

Yassss for more promo! That's The Today Show (I imagine a mini concert?) and Ellen now announced :D

OMG such a happy times to be a Britney fan

new Spotify update is amazing #22 with half a million plays :o

The current position of the song is really fantastic, it gives hope for the song growing. Very steady #2 on iTunes which could easily last until Thursday, at which point the performance on the Today Show should stabilise it. Spending such a large amount of time at #2 on iTunes will be fantastic for radio's assessment of the song. The Spotify progress is amazing - not sure what it'll be like tomorrow but going as high as #22 is huge, even staying around there would be great. Radio is the only thing letting it down but a positive update today gives some hope, and if it's positive again tomorrow I think we'll likely be looking at good things. There's no guarantee that it'll be positive tomorrow, of course, but radio will be making their final decision on this song soon so any sign of them liking the song is good.

I feel like I'd be jumping the gun to talk about its global success but I'm interested to see what'll happen if/when it goes top 50 on global Spotify. It's a pity she's quite hamstrung by Vegas because international promo will be really useful at converting US hype to international success. There's so many promo opportunities for the major markets coming up where she could do one performance and leave it at that. X Factor for UK & Ireland, NRJ Awards for France, BAMBI for Germany, etc etc.

I think only Youtube streams count towards the chart (perhaps vimeo and other video sites as well but that impact is minimum)

Hate to say it, but this is actually growing on me

Don't be fooled into thinking the song isn't far ahead of #3. #1 is currently VERY strong so Make Me is also selling well. Kworb's prediction is 95,000 in pure sales for the rest of the week (with only 2.5 days left). Awesome stuff.

Here's to another decent climb on US Spotify tomorrow.. :)
