Idea 1: Keep it how it is now, but it is skewing results quite heavily (both Josh and I have noticed this when adding up the votes)

 

Idea 2: If the person votes for under half of the category (under 50%), the votes in that category get halved. So for instance in a 7 nominated category, the person only gives +7 and +6 so that turns into +4 and +3 so the results aren't so skewed! I hope that makes sense, please tell me if it doesn't.

 

Idea 3: Was the one used for BuzzOscars last year, where people vote for a top 2 and we look at the 2nd preference votes if there is a tie on 1st preference votes.

 

Idea 4: Another one you think is good

 

Please can we have feedback ASAP as we want to be committed to a voting system that works pretty quickly!

I like Idea 3 the most. It seems the fairest way, tbh.

Idea 3 for me, I think. Works well.
