Yayy

Despite being a lead actress role, Alicia Vikander was absolutely excellent in The Danish Girl (and her other 3 stunning movies this year) and is a fantastic talent, so happy she won

Yasss so relieved, The Danish Girl is probably my 2nd favourite movie of the Oscar season / contenders after Brooklyn so glad to see it pick up something big. I'd bet money on Alicia following that up with a Lead Actress nod for The Light Between Oceans next year too.

(Now I might go to bed as I'm tired and the next acting category is ages away :kink:)

Mad Max: Fury Road would probably have been my 2nd choice so yay for Jenny Beavan winning! Expecting this to be the first of many awards for Mad Max tonight

Loved how she started the speech with 'What A Lovely Day'

Oh no not the bag lady

Omg that comment from the BAFTA's, at least there is nothing like that tonight!

I swear the Orchestra has cut off every single speech tonight

Production Design now, hoping award number two for Mad Max

Mad Max again for this please!

Margot  So hyped for both of them in Suicide Squad later this year, my most anticipated movie after Zootopia at the moment

Mad Max predictably walking away woth all the design awards. I'd have liked 'Revenant' to have won the make-up and hairstyling though. The wounds were incredibly gruesome!

I think Sicario could surprise!

Edit: haha. Perhaps not then! Great winner for this one.

Ugh :( Well tbh the cinematography was tee best part of the movie but would have preferred any of a Carol/Mad Max/Sicario win!

3rd year in a row Emmanuel Lubezki has won now! (Gravity in '14 and Birdman in '15)
