February 28, 20169 yr Author http://i68.tinypic.com/15nsrdf.jpg 1. Inside Out- 3 (1 second preference) Well even though I would have loved Brooklyn to win (especially considering how close it was), Inside Out is an excellent winner as it perfectly sums up one of Buzzjack's favourite movies and was a gigantic return to form for Pixar after their first year away since 2050! Inside Out is an excellent, interesting and fantastic animation that uses very relatable scenes and a bunch of funny and fantastic characters for an absolute Joy of a movie (see what I did there :P). Great winner and a future classic  The member award will occur tomorrow afternoon!

All of the commentaries I've read so far were insightful and interesting and looking forward to reading the rest of it tomorrow  <_< I shouldn't have bothered with that essay!!111 Great and worthy winner of Best Picture, probably my top pick as well. Stunning film in every way, which has been summed up nicely in this thread already <3 Brooklyn, hmmm I liked it, but I wouldn't have put it 2nd or anywhere close out of what was there, I'll save my thoughts on that for the Oscar thread :magic: Perfect winners in the acting categories as well. Great hosting from all three of you and was excellent reading some of these commentaries :D

Fantastic to see Ex_Machina win the 2nd most awards despite missing out on a Best Picture nomination, all three wins being for Vikander! Inside Out completely dominating  And some films flopping badly (shocked how bad Star Wars 7 did and then Brooklyn having a lot of nominations and winning nothing).
February 28, 20169 yr Great to see Inside win I do want to see that :D Brooklyn does look good too Great hosting guys :D
February 28, 20169 yr This has been amazing. Thanks so much for organising and presenting this, you three. So much effort went into it. It's a shame more people decided not to take part but eh, maybe next time! Whew. So glad 'Inside Out' managed to turf out 'Brooklyn' and really pleased to see 'Spy', finish last (although it did great to get a nomination in the first place :o) Looking forward to catching the real thing with you all tonight!!
February 28, 20169 yr Excellent work guys, a lot of effort was clearly put into this and it all paid off! Well done! Inside Out is such a deserved winner but Sadness was ROBBED in the Best Character category, at least Phyllis Smith won the Voice Performance.
February 28, 20169 yr Great work all round and some fabulous winners. Sorry I was too busy last night to join in Anyway great job everyone. Edited February 28, 20169 yr by Severin
February 28, 20169 yr No problems at all with Inside Out doing so well, I really need to re-watch it soon. Bit sad Carol didn't do better overall but yay for Cate almost clinching the shock win.

February 28, 20169 yr Inside Out is a great winner! One of the real surprises of the year for me. I agree with Froot that Sadness was robbed in the character category too. Such an incredible character and easily the best in that film.
