Just confirmed by the boys on Radio 1 right now as they're standing in for Cel Spellman! I Found a Girl is the third single from The Vamps' second album Wake Up, following the title track and Rest Your Love. It's a good choice, the second best choice IMO, but WHY are they ignoring Volcano??? :(

At least they're releasing a new version to stop this being a total flop I guess :kink:

Out April 1st

I hope this doesn't flop like the past two which have been decent. Bit frustrating, unless this does really well, I can't see a 4th single/Volcano happening. It's easily the best on the album. :'(

First Silento now Omi? They really like their one hit wonders this era don't they?

Good song though :D

OMI's part sounds really weird  maybe I'll get used to it. If it helps it chart, I'm all for it anyway.

This sounds very messy and the video looks a bit cheap. Their singles this era have not been impressive at all. :(
This is quite decent, back to how they were when I enjoyed their songs more, hope it can do well (and give OMI another hit after poor Hula Hoop  )
Disappointing that this is not taking off (Although it's doing 1000 times better than the mess that was 'Rest Your Love'), Currently at #19 on iTunes and with the streaming 'parties' that they are pushing on social media this could scrape Top 40? :nocheer: The album is SO good so don't understand why this era has gone so wrong for them.
This is growing on me a bit. It kind of reminds me Somebody To You (AKA their best song) though obviously not as good. The Omi part sounds SO tacked on, whereas Silento fits in nicely with Volanco. Also the part of the video Omi is on just doesn't work.
Yeah, this is pretty good. The OMI feature does feel very copy and paste though.
Was hoping that the fact this is the Radio 1 'Track Of The Day' today would have given it an iTunes boost but it's stayed around the #24 mark. Promotion has been decent and the fact they have it priced at 59p I'm not sure what else they could have done - Boybands are definately out of fashion again it seems with The Vamps, 5SOS, Lawson etc, all struggling this era.

I do really like this, and can see it doing well if airplay picks up a bit. The best of the singles released this era so far for me.

I'd have done their singles campaign this way, personally:

1st: Volanco

2nd: I Found a Girl

3rd: Wake Up

4th: Rest Your Love

This is actually extremely catchy after a few listens, I can kind of see why they went with it now... 'Rest Your Love' has grown as well but I think that choice will always baffle me.

Yeah I'm really enjoying this now, I liked it as an album track but I think I was struggling to get behind it as a single until now. Omi's part is fun too.

I agree with Joe's order of how the singles should've been, although I would like them to put out a ballad at some point, they've not done that yet and something like Stolen Moments could serve it well.

I hope we still get 'Volcano' as a release but I think with this now likely to be lucky to stay Top 30 the record company will abandon the project
