Welcome to round 16 of Least Fave Destiny's Child single, and bowing out in 4th place with 13 votes is none other than "Independent Women", leaving just 3 big hits left in the running. This was the smash hit that bridged "The Writing's On The Wall" and "Survivor". This awesome empowerment anthem put the girls on a whole new level of fame and firmly established new member Michelle into the group, and the trio of Beyoncé, Kelly & Michelle, would end up becoming the best known and most successful line up of their careers. This would be just one of their smashes that encourage women to stand up on their own. Originally this was featured on the hit movie "Charlie's Angels" and was heavily promoted through this song, but honestly I think basically everyone has forgotten that terrible movie, but still remembers this amazing song.

Released in September 2000 as the lead single from their upcoming "Survivor" album, this would become a massive smash hit by topping the USA charts for 11 weeks, as well as topping the charts in the UK, Canada, Ireland, Netherlands & New Zealand, as well as top 10 peaks in 12 other countries.
