How come is at #6-#4 but it's #12 on iTunes?

 

Different platforms. And partly because iTunes is a rolling chart for like 4 days, so songs selling more in a very day can be lower.

I would love to see the video out on monday, but wouldn't it be better to release it after Radio 1 playlists it?

It would be a blessing if they released the video and were Track of the Day on Monday, but this would be too good to be true

Hair is R1's track of the day today! Shame it wasn't saved for a weekday when they have more effect, but we could see it rise a little?

Great that they're TOTD so we know LM are about 95% likely to be playlisted and supported. But yeah, they barely have any effect at weekends. :(

Well I'm pleased they got track of the day, shame it wasn't tomorrow, but hey ho, chances are it's going to be playlisted so we'll just have to be patient to see where it peaks

I defiantly think this will be a slow-burner rather than an instant hit - which is great for sales. Once airplay, streams and the video along with promo (fingers crossed) it'll peak, but it's too premature for it to be a hit right now.

Always the way with these kinds of releases though, it'll climb when airplay kicks off. It's lucky to have capital support off the bat. it might climb a bit tomorrow when the weekend effect is over. And the video is coming within the next few days (Wednesday is the rumoured day for that).

YEY! Really excited to see this video! Hopefully with that and Capital will see it hold steady and maybe sneak top 20 this week, but a new peak in the top 30 would be great too

Shocked to see it went from Spotify #94 to out of the top 200 today.

That's a bit disheartening, but not entirely unexpected due to the weekend effect. I imagine it'll climb again soon, although I can't help but feel that this'll be another LMLY and be massively hampered by streaming.

Streams will pick up if they get added to some major Spotify playlists like "The Pop List" and others.. Let's see how this goes after airplay increases.

It's not very shocking considering this is a very old single (despite the feat) and fans are not as excited as for the previous 3.. But I think it will do fine in the long run

Full line up for R1 big weekend is revealed tomorrow at 8. If Little Mix are playing they'll get a lot more support with Hair, it'll probably make the A list which is rarer for 4th singles.

I forgot about the R1 Big Weekend thing! Has the full Glastonbury line up been announced too? Don't BBC cover that a lot/play a lot of the artists playing at that festival too? I imagine they'll be at Summertime Ball as well, probably proper headliners this time.

 

Wednesday would be a good day for a video release.

They didn't have ONE green update on kworb today, what a useless day to have TOTD =( But yeah, I think the video will help them a lot, like it did for SLS. I think they'll release it soon considering it's not doing as well as SLS on it's own

If anything it's just a good indication that R1 are going to support the single, we don't really want it to peak right away tbh. UK leg of the GWT wraps up in a week or so's time, we need radio play to carry it over to after they've been in Australia and hopefully peak first weeks in June to co-incide with Summertime Ball and BGT performances (if they're going to happen)

Saturday is the last date of the UK leg of the Get Weird Tour. Big Weekend would be possible as they finish the Asia leg of the tour on the 23rd, so by the time they get back they could have a couple of days off
