This morning there were a few rumours doing the rounds on Twitter that Weird People is the next single. Don't get me wrong, I like the song, but there are several songs on the album that deserve to be singles ahead of Weird People

The announcement will probably just be another Snapchat filter like for the O2

Hmmm, that definitely reads new single announcement to me....

 

Even though Weird People is by far the most popular choice of single on this forum I'm going off it slightly and am warming to Lightning and OMG as choices. PLEASE NOT GROWN.

Hopefully it's single #4 ('Weird People' please!) with a clip of the video premiering on Snapchat on Saturday (although Joe says, perhaps they'll premier the video on Snapchat?)

 

EDIT: Seriously though. The tour performance of 'Weird People' got me really excited for it to become an official single. Plus a big/similar performance of it on BGT would do wonders.

It's funny how people outside foruns want ANYTHING but Weird People, and on foruns people usually want anything but Grown :wacko:

My favorite is Grown, but after the tour I've became a A.D.I.D.A.S lover, so I'd be down with that too. Hair would be weird since it was the second song we heard from the album SO long ago, but I love it too.

I wonder why, though I do think forums generally do look at things a bit more objectively. I wouldn't be surprised if what ever's chosen under-performs though (I can see this being their lowest peaker). And fandom will blame it on incorrect single choice.

I think it's especially since people on twitter wanting Grown are usually from other places. But since it will probably be another UK/IRE release, and y'all say WP is a good choice, I'd be ok with it. After all, I do want what's best for them.

I do agree with this, the chances are it will be, but I do think ADIDAS or Lightening are more risk choices in the sense that they could strike a chord with the general public and give them another top 10/15, as they are the most different sound wise, so could pay off. But at the same time, could also do a lot worse if it doesn't pay off against say, the much safer choices of Weird People or OMG, which are pretty much a cert to give them a peak somewhere around 20
