Posted March 25, 20169 yr In the last 12 years (ie since OFCOM's inception), these shows have attracted the most complaints: 1. Big Brother / Celebrity Big Brother (C4 & C5): 73,788 2. X Factor (ITV): 20,548 3. Jerry Springer The Opera (BBC2): 8,860 4. UKIP: The First 100 Days (C4): 6,187 5. Sky News: 6,056 6. EastEnders (BBC1): 3,782 7. Britain's Got Talent (ITV): 3,747 8. Coronation Street (ITV): 3,566 9. The Wright Stuff (C5): 2,788 10. Emmerdale (ITV): 2,531 No surprise on the leader, although 44,500 came from the Jade Goody/Shilpa Shetty race row.
March 25, 20169 yr Yeah, no particular surprises, certainly not for the #1! I would have though Eastenders would be further ahead from Corrie though, given the sheer amount of complaints attracted from the baby swap storyline in 2011.
March 25, 20169 yr I thought Eastenders would be further ahead as well! Not surprised to see that UKIP show on there. It was bizarre to say the least!
March 26, 20169 yr I'm surprised I'm A Celebrity isn't here. Gino G'Acampo & the rat incident I thought brought about thousands.
