I'm not sure she'd do it but it'd be such an iconic hot mess, a real talking point like that could be what the show needs. It's boring with the same old judges, I like Nicole but the panel is just there as it is.

Katy Perry is the first confirmed judge for the Idol rboot. I'm sure that Randy bloody Jackson will be back, I think maybe they'll go for someone like Shawn Mendes or Charlie Puth also.
I can actually see Keith Urban coming back more than Randy Jackson if we're going with previous judges. They'll most likely get an Idol alum as the third judge most likely, I've heard rumors of Chris Daughtry doing it?

Jordin Sparks or Kathaine McPhee plz if it's gonna be an Idol alumni *.*

(Obv the dream is Carrie but she'd never do it)

Katharine won't do it since she's too busy with Scorpion. Jordin is a good shout though?

(In a perfect world we'd have Adam Lambert tbh)

Oh god NO not Adam Lambert, he was bloody awful on XF Australia but he's a good shout actually as he did say he loved the experience but all the judges hated each other, so he might well seek a better experience. I found him quite rude, he seemed to proper slag off any act that wasn't his to make his own look better.... And he chose Isaiah, who shouldn't have even made the top 3, over some AMAZING singers but there's no accounting for taste :kink:
Thank God Idol doesn't have that kind of mentorship (and the judges' save is only once per season if they bring that back and it must be done unanimously) because I'd hate to see that again.

First big CBB rumours are

Sinitta (!!) and her "arch rival" Dawn Ward who's on Real Housewives Of Cheshire, never heard of the woman but apparently they hate each other

Taking bets now on what age she'll be claiming to be in the Press Release (I'm fairly sure she's been "39" for about 7 years minimum)

So according to the Sun, X Factor is planning a major revamp with six weekends of live shows only but with both nights featuring performances from each contestant as well as eliminations on both nights and star guests on both nights. So basically the same amount of live shows (a couple more in fact) will be condensed into half the time.

Also Honey G novelty acts will be "discouraged". We shall see... (I'm sure similar "drastic revamps" have come to nothing in the past)

I think I like that idea tbh, the 10 weeks of live shows drags a bit and this breaks it up while keeping it exciting. It might feel a bit rushed but I'm not mad at it, I think it's a better wa of cutting it down than what they did in 2015 with all the double eliminations.

I'm guessing cutting down the live shows to be broadcast over 6 weeks and having something worth watching on both Saturday and Sunday is a reflection of the general ratings slump all talent shows, not just X Factor, seem to be getting once they move out of the auditions round. I don't think it's going to save The X Factor by any means but it is a good way of adapting to people's viewing habits when it comes to talent shows.

I no longer have an interest in watching X Factor but, once upon a time, the live shows were the most exciting bit for me and I liked that we went on a journey with each and every contestant. Cutting down the weeks of live shows at that time would have spoiled the experience for me, but I suppose it doesn't really matter now since I no longer have that emotional connection with the show.

The "cutting down on joke acts" thing remains to be seen. It does and has ruined the credibility of the show - may have been a bit of laugh when Chico, Jedward and Wagner were making it through week after week back in the day, but it got real tired real quick - although I suppose it depends on how much attention they bring to the show and how much money the show can make from the media talking about these acts. Just a matter of whether the pros outweigh the cons.

Sadly I'm sure they've said a few times they're cutting back on joke acts yet we've still had to endure Rylan, Reggie & Bollie and Honey G

ffs Stephanie Davis is having a SECOND child with Jeremy McConnell. The news has just come out after she has been arrested for assaulting him :drama:

Apparently Channel 5 are planning a female only CBB series with "strong opinionated woman instead of no mark reality TV girls", using Germaine Greer as an example... Greer is FOUL so no thanks at anyone like her. Idk what to think, female housemates are generally better as huge characters but i don't want a whole series of Loose Women type people who think they're right all the time :drama:
