Posted April 3, 20169 yr okay.. so a thread dedicated to all the animations out their- south park, family guy, american dad, king of the hill, the simpsons, bob's burgers etc. i love watching southpark- probably at the top of my list, quickly followed by family guy what about you. which of the animated series do you enjoy?
April 3, 20169 yr For me I'd say Family Guy, always cheers me up when I'm in a bad mood and laugh so much when watching it  The Simpsons follows very closely behind, always watched it every day when I was younger and also always made me smile! I really like South Park but haven't seen it in like 3 years and American Dad is ok if I'm bored but I don't find it too funny. However an adult animation I'm becoming obsessed on is Bojack Horseman on Netflix. Only watched a few episodes but I find it hilarious and the characters are fantastic!
April 3, 20169 yr Rick And Morty is the KING of adult animation right now, though Archer, American Dad, Brickleberry, Family Guy and South Park have all been amazing at other points. The Simpsons obviously was too, but it's never been very adult and it hasn't been great for the better part of 2 decades. I'll do a little rank/rate of the ones I actively enjoy, based on all time ratings 10 Rick & Morty 10 American Dad 09 Archer 09 Family Guy 09 South Park 08 Brickleberry 07 The Simpsons (10 for up to season 8/9) 07 Futurama 05 Bordertown 03 The Cleveland Show 03 King Of The Hill 00 Bob's Burgers

April 3, 20169 yr I'd say Simpsons overall for the amount I love the episodes from its peak. But I also love Family Guy, also past its best but usually a good laugh. BoJack Horseman is amazing as well though!
April 3, 20169 yr 10 Rick & Morty 10 American Dad 10 Archer 10 Family Guy 10 South Park 07 Brickleberry 07 The Simpsons 09 Futurama 03 Bordertown 09 King Of The Hill 09 Bob's Burgers 08 Animals 10 Adventure Time Not including Cleveland show coz canned~ And we forgot Animals and Adventure Time tyvm I lurve me some animated tv shows <3 favorite probably South Park but if Rick and Morty keep this up, they might very well overtake it. This should be in my forum tho technically~
April 3, 20169 yr Bordertown is one of the most vile tv shows there are on tv right now. Can it be cancelled like yesterday? It's such a cliché and it never provided a lol moment during the two episodes I forced myself to watch. Ugh.
April 3, 20169 yr South Park >>>>>>>>> I tried Family Guy but it just pales in comparison, though it's fairly good. Never got The Simpsons though.
April 3, 20169 yr A special shoutout to these too The Life and Times of Tim Daria Drawn Together Total Drama Island
April 3, 20169 yr I do love animation as a vehicle, always have, but this type, 'adult' humour that is often just crude, with no real stories (for those I've seen), I tend to be quite selective about which ones I watch. (Western culture seeing animation as ONLY a children's/comedy medium is something I'm really not a fan of and so I, sometimes fairly and sometimes unfairly, blame these shows as the source of that blockade. thriller/mystery/sci-fi/horror dramatic animation (trying NOT to use the A word here but you know where it comes from) can be just as an amazing/better form of adult animation) That said, for the rare occasions (these days) where I'm up for comedy, I do allow South Park because I enjoy its political commentary and American Dad because behind the humour there's sometimes a good push to get a decent story worth watching and Roger is possibly the best character western animation ever dreamt up. Family Guy/The Simpsons did have some great episodes in their prime but both should really be euthanised now. Particularly Family Guy as that has the potential to be offensively bad rather than just no1curr. If I'm painting the rest with a broad brush that's because I haven't watched them so the rest... might be good, I don't know. Out of all the rest mentioned in this thread the only other one I've seen I think is Futurama.
April 3, 20169 yr South Park & Aqua Teen Hunger Force have gotta be my two overall favourites, heard some great things about Rick & Morty so i'm interested in that one!
April 3, 20169 yr All of Simpsons, Futurama, South Park & Family Guy lost their spark, I've never got American Dad at all so I don't really find many adult animations I enjoy these days though Bob's Burgers & Rick & Morty seem quite good from the little I've seen/heard.
April 3, 20169 yr I'm not a big fan of the Simpsons any more, however I'd still regard it as one of my favourite programmes, and I like South Park and American Dad in small doses - I'd struggle to watch more than 1 episode of the two. I LOVE Family Guy, though, definetly in my top 3 favourite programmes, such a great laugh and never fails to cheer me up. I have, however, noticed how violent the episodes have gotten lately - can't be everyone's cup of tea.
April 4, 20169 yr Author All of Simpsons, Futurama, South Park & Family Guy lost their spark, I've never got American Dad at all so I don't really find many adult animations I enjoy these days though Bob's Burgers & Rick & Morty seem quite good from the little I've seen/heard. which channel can i find this rick and morty. i've never even heard of it yes bob's burgers is great, especially the episode where they parody E.T (with the toilet in sted of the alien) and thanks to who ever aded briccleberry
April 4, 20169 yr Though it's gone downhill loads over the past 10 years, Classic The Simpsons, cannot be beaten. Genius.
April 4, 20169 yr Yeah easily The Simpsons for me. Unbeatable for its first 16/17 seasons (yes I go as far as that maybe even further before losing interest!). Then Futurama second ~
April 5, 20169 yr The Simpsons started to go downhill sharply from about series 9 onwards, but the early episodes cannot be beaten. Family Guy is really poor nowadays. I really liked King of the Hill back in the day. South Park had its moments and American Dad and Futurama were both good if slightly inferior to their more famous siblings. Ren n Stimpy anyone?
