Posted April 11, 201610 yr I felt like this legend of UK politics needs his own thread to gush over his jibes in the Commons. Today he's provided us with yet another gem... qvIUa47x_Oc What a legend! Speaking the truth and actually representing what the country thinks in Parliament. My all-time favourite Dennis Skinner moment is...
April 11, 201610 yr That's c**t of a reptile sitting down next to him is my MP. Horrible, horrible man. Edited April 11, 201610 yr by Oliver
April 11, 201610 yr Author He shouldve withdrawn the adjective then dodgy would have had to reply... He never answers the question though
April 11, 201610 yr The trouble is that just left Dodgy Dave sitting there looking smug, knowing that he wasn't even going to have to pretend to answer the question. Besides, who owns that rather large property in Oxfordshire? DD claims only to own one property, the one in Notting Hill. You know the one, the property that generates three times as much income in rent than most people earn in a year from doing their job.
April 12, 201610 yr I agree but all the news headlines yesterday evening had the Skinner rant which although it meant DC controlled the debate in the Commons the feeling amongst the public will be of a PM/Tory party that have unveiled once again their true colours and their stance of supporting their own the people of money and influence. The PMs authority will have been almost certainly reduced leading to a quicker exit (and possibly effect Boris'application to become PM as he comes from that background).
April 12, 201610 yr From what I have seen, they haven't reported why Skinner called him "Dodgy Dave".
