bit off topic but just noticed Dua Lipa - Be the One is #1 in The Netherlands, top 10 in some European countries and even Australia... wonder if it's gonna be pushed again in the UK... seems like a potential huge hit

YES PLEASE. Be The One deserves to be absolutely massive, really hope it can take off

Just watching Graham Norton and wow the UK actually have a decent song for Eurovision! :o First one I've actually properly liked and that's just on first listen. Wonder if UK actually have a chance at winning...

Not a chance. It's like a One Direction reject song

It's a really good song at least for my music taste, definitely one of our best for many years. But unfortunately our bar isn't set too high and it still pales in comparison to many of the other entries, especially when it comes to live performances which elevate other countries' entries much more than our live performance does. I think matching Molly's 17th place from 2014 will be very difficult but at least we don't have to be ashamed like we were last year (unless you were Bré or Iz :kink:).

 116. Joe and Jake - You're Not Alone

It's utterly diabolical. That clip of Keeley Hawes' grunts and moans as Lara Croft would be a better entry tbh.

Frans in the iTunes chart over a month after Melodifestivalen but a month before Eurovision *.*

yep, it's another poor effort.

I just hope when it flops the media don't blame it on the EU referendum, and realise that it's because the song isn't very good.

(No idea where this has come from!)

Uk has no chances of winning they could be happy with top 20 finish :D

And on that note :arrr: :arrr: :arrr: :arrr: :arrr: :arrr:

Looks like Joe and Jake may go top 50 tomorrow especially with the newspaper coverage surrounding Eurovision tomorrow and a very good effect from their performance so far. Hopefully it can stay in the top 200 up until Eurovision now with the Radio 2 airplay!

It's nice to see -some- level of affection for the song among the public. You can at least say you didn't send a song nobody liked for once.
Electro Velvet got to the dizzy heights of #136 the day after their Graham Norton performance last year, and that was only two weeks before Eurovision compared to Joe and Jake's 4 weeks so would have had more Radio 2 airplay prior to their performance. So that's a definite improvement! :kink:
'Still In Love With You' was a better song tho xx

I would up your warn level for this if you weren't a mod xx

And I'd just do the same to you; one further up the chain. It was a much better song.

Although yeah, what Umi said, at least there's something happening for this one.

I should warn you all for belonging to the country that sent last year's abomination. Unfortunately the "you're all mods" issue is kind of compounded by me having no powers in this domain.

Slightly more relevant and yet not really note: It's a pity that you'll never get a Eurovision entry chart higher than Molly did again because of streaming.
