Spain just had a very good rehearsal, she has a bit when the music stops and she falls to the floor for dramatic effect but it works very well.

Also you can see me asking Gabriela a question at 12m53s here:

I should've probably said "Hi I'm Walter for Buzzjack forums" but nevermind

Seems like the UK rehearsal went down well. The vocals sounded excellent. Even though we'll clearly end up near the bottom, the boys will at least perform it well and the song's miles from being anywhere near bottom of the pack.

Love the fact the UK odds are being slashed just because their rehearsal was not awful!

But it sounds promising anyway, although I wish the BBC would stop this obsession with having bands on stage recently like with Molly and with Bonnie instead of something more unique - but at least they only have drummers this time so it's an improvement.

I hope the selfie pictures look better on the night because the rehearsal clip on the Eurovision channel isn't selling me.

I'm resigned to another (undeserved, imo, as I think it's a great song) poor result, my one hope now is that the boys really enjoy the entire experience and aren't too disheartened if they finish bottom 5 next Saturday.

Lithuania has a horrid styling and the staging is quite on the meh side. Also the trampoline jump is just awkward. Definite DNQ for me.

I'd be surprised if Lithuania DNQed, they are in the absolute perfect semi for their diaspora (whose impact will increase this year with new voting system) with Latvia, UK, Ireland, Poland and Belarus (and Georgia who they have a strangely loving relationship with) and I'd expect a good 50 televote points or so from those 6 countries. The song is good enough to pick up a few little points from elsewhere and his vocals are decent enough to get some decent jury support too so I do think he will be fine, the staging while a bit average at least isn't horrible and Donny does have stage presence from what I've seen.

The main downside is that Denmark and Ireland will split his votes, but Lithuania only seem to DNQ with horrendous songs (Attention) so I'm optimistic as it is one of my favourites! :kink: That said, I'm not convinced it is a certain qualifier as I was prior to rehearsals, it will be more like 8th-10th if it does get through. If it does DNQ then it'll be a very very close miss and it'd be a shame for Lithuania's best ever song.

I did see he fluffed the trampoline jump in his first run through today though, hopefully that doesn't happen again!

It's a borderline qualifier if they sort out his styling. His hair and all three of his jackets were all very off putting. And the jump is cheesy as. It's not a good performance at all.

It's such a shame, Lithuania could've been on for a really good result if they'd got things right!

Loving the look of Poli's rehearsal, from what I can see the police/soldier dancers on the LEDs multiply as we get to each chorus which is fab and I like that the backing singers come out at the end for a big finish - I just wish we could have a big pyro finish but I guess Bulgaria can't afford to spend money on that.

It works reallt well for Bulgaria. It's an unusual and simple performance but it works brilliantly. It reminded me a bit of Cheryl's FFTL X Factor performance, which can only be a good thing.

I'm hearing good things from the press about Bulgaria.

But why does she keep drifting in the odds?! Almost makes me nervous she won't qualify (might be paranoia because I'm going to the jury final on Friday and I HAVE to see her live!).

We can't see the tech she's using in this video, but Dami's vocal is perfection.

EDIT: Full rehearsal video:

It looks awful in that video as we can see her getting helped off that stupid box, and I'm not fond of the way she changed the big note and adlibs at the end. It loses some impact. They said in the press conference afterwards that they're being very clever to make sure that we don't see any of that stuff on the night though, so I guess the camera angles will hide her moving from the box.

I think it's ridiculously obvious none of that helping off the box will be shown to the world, only the audience will see it.

Yeah but it'll look awful to the audience though. It's so unnecessary and it'd look infinitely better with her standing behind the screens and then just moving forward when they move away.

Dami's staging looks very effective, with what is being described as an incredible vocal, that could stand out very well against all the big staging.

Lol who the hell cares how it looks like to the audience. You will make up for like 0.0000000000001% of all the viewing figures :')

Yeah I know that's true, I just don't see the point in having her perched on some stupid box, limiting her movements. They're just creating problems when there needn't be any.

You should ask the director and whoever choreographed the number. I guess it was their vision. We won't know how it is supposed to look like until it's performed during the actual event so it's far too early to judge.
