Easy.

Mine is Close My Eyes from the Butterfly album. ^_^

There are many so I'll just choose at random.

Close My Eyes again.

I still love that song today and it has such a calming effect on me. When I first bought the album I never really noticed the song but after the first time I listened all the way through I was hooked.

It reminds me of being unhappy as a teenager but finding a way to get on with life.

PS - the great thing about it is that I didn't have the difficult childhood Mariah did but I still feel like I can identify with that song. Compare that to 'Family Portrait' or 'I'm OK' where you really had to have lived those lives to feel the same way.

PS Welcome to the forum. Not sure I've noticed you in the Mariah forum before.

Hope to chat with you more in here.

I've said this before, I don't really connect emotionally with Mariah songs, Celine does that for me... but the closest I have got is Looking In from Daydream and There For Me :D
Either ''Butterfly'' or ''When You Believe''

I don't really connect emotionally with Mariah songs, Celine does that for me...

Even though Mariah writes her songs and Celine does not

Celine has more emotion in her voice, but I prefer Mariah as an artist :P

Celine has more emotion in her voice

We'll agree to disagree about that

I connect with Hero because I always end up thinking of my two late grandfathers (the one I saw last week is my step grandfather) who both served in the Second World War. :)

You may be the only person in the world who'd follow the word 'war' with a smile

The smile was more in connection with the stories I have heard about the two grandfathers, particularly my maternal one who was a cheeky chap apparently.

Yep nice story

I just can't connect to Mariah songs though :o

Kalen I couldn't believe it when you told me that you didn't think she was emotional ages ago, I can relate to LOADS of them. :o
Some of her live preformances are, like Can't Take That Away :o
It is kind of a bad song but thing is I think she tries to use her voice over emotion in songs, because that is what expected of her :(
I Still Believe, Bringin' On The Heartbreak, very emotional. -_-
I love Bringin on the heartbreak, the whistle note is great :o
