Posted May 4, 20169 yr Meghan's released a clip of her second single from Thank You, christ knows what to think of it.... It sounds like it could be a hot mess in full but right now I'm like "wtf is this" http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/meghan-trainor-me-too/
May 4, 20169 yr Great minds think alike! :drama: Excited to hear this in full anyway! A Jason Derulo co-write :o
May 4, 20169 yr I will wait until the full thing comes out but I did enjoy NO so I look forward to see how this fares.
May 4, 20169 yr I love the sound of it  I really am liking Meghan this era, she's really come into her own.
May 4, 20169 yr Author The clip is longer now, 1:30 as opposed to 30 seconds, and it's really growing on me, I got into it as it played more  It'd be HUGE for Jason if he was to sing it so hopefully it can be for her too.
May 4, 20169 yr I have the exact same reaction as I did to NO... It sounds catchy and good, but I don't see it as a smash.
May 5, 20169 yr Author It's out in full! http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/meghan-trainor-me-too/ OK this is amazing *.*
May 5, 20169 yr The "I thank God every day" parts are decent but the melody on the rest of the song is completely awful. The hook would have potential otherwise. Easily the worst thing I've heard from this era so far.
May 6, 20169 yr Author Why has this bitch deleted her entire album from Apple Music? The whole deluxe is up now, I think it was mistakenly put up maybe?? On itunes it still says pre-order and expected 13th May but on Apple Music it says "2016" like an album that's been released, I'm just listening to it! Was gonna go to sleep but they might take it off so I'll listen now
May 6, 20169 yr Hmm, there's a good song in there somewhere, I think, but it's definitely not there in the version released. I was kinda hoping she'd continue with proper throwback pop jams for some reason.
May 6, 20169 yr Ah no, this is terrible. I've been a fan of pretty much all of Meghan's music so far but really not enjoying the new era as much. NO ended up massively growing on me due to its catchy hooks but it was still a bit outdated and messy and this is just both of those but worse, hardly got any good hooks and she's becoming a bit faceless. The doo-wop sound was 'her thing' last time around but this time I feel like the music could be by anyone, but it's not because no-one makes this sort of music nowadays anyway :L Hopefully it grows in time for the album...
