May 9, 20169 yr Up and coming............. <_< I was thinking the same. Grime is just as popular as it was 10 years ago. Skepta is one of the biggest Grime artists so I'm not too shocked 25,000 people have bought his album. Lots of my London friends love him.
May 9, 20169 yr Didn't RY X have a hit single about two years ago? He hasn't quite struck where the iron was hot there.
May 9, 20169 yr Didn't RY X have a hit single about two years ago? He hasn't quite struck where the iron was hot there. Yep. “Berlin” which got to #38 at Christmas in 2013.
May 9, 20169 yr 'Berlin' was only a hit because of an advert too, it's not as if people were generally invested in the artist.
May 9, 20169 yr Oh, well done, Rihanna! :cheer: She may have lost ha every year a no.1 record but at least she's back to getting 1 no.1 per year.
May 9, 20169 yr Oh, well done, Rihanna! :cheer: She may have lost ha every year a no.1 record but at least she's back to getting 1 no.1 per year. This Is What You Came For won't be #1 this week. Her lead over Drake is nowhere near big enough and he will take over by Friday, especially considering Spotify data is missing for the past few days and he's doing a lot more streams. Believe me, I'd love Calvin & Rihanna to be #1 this week but it's not going to happen :(

One of the worst 'rappers' of our time.
May 9, 20169 yr Also, bit of a shocker for Charlie Simpson at only 100 there. I thought releasing to coincide with the Busted comeback would help.
May 9, 20169 yr Come on Drake keep off that snoozefest from #1 :D Great sales for Skepta! Shame Disturbed won't make the play zone come Friday :(
May 9, 20169 yr I hope Kiss It Better can sneak into the top 40 this week. I love the song but part of me thinks 'Consideration' would've made more of an impact since it would stand out on radio playlists (although whether or not radio would take to it is a different matter). Now that Kiss it Better is finally getting some proper airplay, it's really picking up some steam, it's very steadily rising on iTunes and on Spotify now. If the iTunes increases over the last few days are enough to go by, it's looking to be another hit for her.
May 10, 20169 yr I can't believe Sex is not yet top 40. :banghead: judging by Dan'ss estimations, it will more than likely sneak it in on Friday :D
May 10, 20169 yr Would like to see JT go number one soon. Happy for Drake to keep it. One Dance might be getting a bit dull now but it is still a tune compared to the nondescript This is what you came for (which is one of Calvin's worst IMO)
May 10, 20169 yr 'Berlin' was only a hit because of an advert too, it's not as if people were generally invested in the artist. Also B Listed on radio 1!
May 10, 20169 yr Adele out of the top 10 albums already? why are you that sure? we didnt get positions 6 and 7 from the top10... and she's been around #15-#17 on iTunes with 8 compilations above her... and today she is at #12 with 5 compilations above which means she is at #5 in artists albums terms... Im sure she can end the week inside the top10. Hope we get her position with todays update :)
May 10, 20169 yr She was at #13 yesterday, you can see on the OCC website: http://www.officialcharts.com/charts/albums-chart-update/ Eighth biggest seller yesterday so likely to be back in the Top 10 by Friday.
May 10, 20169 yr Ry X could have capitalized on the success of Berlin But took things pretty slowly In the meantime he did an album as The Acid, more dancey which is great too
