Our winner with a measly ten points...

Jonjo!!!

Well done to our winner and apologies to those who found it too difficult. Googling is Googling I thought, but obviously there's obviously more to it.

Anyway, I won't do any more. Cheers for playing.

Thank god I didn't come last. I enjoyed this quiz as it made me work and think harder than normal, thanks Richie!
Yay another win! Thanks for a very interesting and well though out roubd, richie. I honestly wouldn't mind another round similar, if you ever felt the temptation to do another one. Beautifully presented too. congrats to everyone! I think everyone can be pleased with how well they did tbh.
4th and 3 points off the top spot! MUCH better than I expected! Really pleased with that!! Congrats Jonjo, great score! Thank you for hosting Richie, really enjoyed this one, as it was quite tricky, but thoroughly enjoyable!!

Y'all better be ready for a Regina Game later tonight :smoke:

8. A reference made to 1980s culture by Marty McFly in Back to the Future which a 1950s character doesn't get.

Not sure why this was such a "tough" question as everybody gave great answers and there was a lot of agreement. There are actually loads and loads of things to choose from - I'd also have accepted 1950s yokels thinking his radiation suit makes him a man from outer space, the belief his body warmer is a life preserver, the idea of "re-runs" on TV and the fact nobody believes his family has two television sets, the use of the word "heavy" to mean worrying, a road named after John F Kennedy who hasn't yet been president or, indeed, shot. Bet there are loads more too.

omg I almost put that but didn't think you'd accept as, well, Kennedy wasn't around in the 80s :(

Very pleased with 4th, this round was quite tough but it was different and a unique theme so I really liked it, thanks for hosting! And gosh, you guys need to see The Breakfast Club.

I actually so very nearly went for the 'heavy' slang but thought it might have been quite obvious as he's saying it throughout the film.

I enjoyed this round, I mean, I've only seen a few movies mentioned here but the ones I have are generally pretty great classics and it was a nice set of questions, cheers Richie.
