I can do without more Taylor/Rihanna in my life tbh. Both horrifically overrated.

Though that track list is worth it for Here With Me alone :wub:

I'm very sure the NOW Team aren't snubbing Taylor, Rihanna and Adele. These artists have control of distributing rights now and they decide if a song of theirs gets put on these albums.

With the Rihanna situation, it ain't her who refuses to include her music on compilations. She is signed to Jay Z's label and he is the one who doesn't allow the songs to appear on compilations

So basically you're always wrong when you mention Now snubbing artists then, aren't you?

I'm pretty sure the Now team wouldn't snub anyone, the omissions are more to do with the fact that they can't have access to certain songs or artists due to label issues or the act preventing them.

I remember in the 80s and 90s, lots of big songs missed out as Warner and Sony wouldn't allow songs released by them to appear on a NOW due to them being in charge of the HITS

Where did you see this? Never mind. Seen it on now music store. Brilliant selection of songs but would prefer if they replaced Flock Of Seagulls' song with "I Ran" and glad to see Kylie & Jason finally make an appearance. I still wish they'd include a different MJ song other than "Billie Jean". As for Dexys Midnight Runners, they should replace "Come On Eileen" with "Geno"

At least it's not as superfluous as many of their special editions. I already have quite a few of those songs on the Now 80s Dance though, so I'll pass.

Anywayyy, the new 2015 edition of the Now book has just been released and is available for £4.99 in Sainsburys. I just bought it this morning, includes the last three albums and updates facts and stats on all the pages throughout the book (i.e. there are writeups for different songs for each edition and new stats pages).

I won't be purchasing a new copy. In fact, I may stop collecting the main series since I glance at the top 40 and don't know many of the songs. Now 91 was essentially a catch up exercise. I genuinely get more excited when I see a decent track list for a spin off like Now Singer these days.

No Madonna, Roxette, The Cure or Morrissey though :angry:
