Daniel is from London, he just has NZ heritage. Birdy is from Hampshire. I can't see Eric Turner, but surely he's just on the very British Tinie Tempah's track as a feature?

There's way too many songs from the last two years and not enough from the past decade.

great post!.

i find this with a lot of the now spin off albums.

too many recent hits, and not enough hits from the past (if any, in some cases)

the obvious exception is now that's what i call classic rock, where they can't put modern tracks on their, because their simply isn't any modern classic rock tracks

but i buy them.. now that's what i call a summer party, for instance, really looking forward to what might be on their, and it turns out that they didn't even look in the archive at all.. just use this years and last year's tracks (which is annoying as hell)

another thing, now that's what i call christmas.

i purchased last year's rerelease of the album, only to find about 1 or 2 tracks that wern't on the previous edition on that one

what, is, the, point

just saying

That's right. In this case, Rita Ora is classed as British although she was born in Yugoslavia but she doesn't get an appearance. Krept & Konan don't appear as their song features an American. Ed Sheeran's absence from this album, I do not understand

There seems to be no reason for some of these spin offs apart from selling the same songs to the same people again.

It seems that it must be far easier to sell a few hundred copies of hundreds of albums than hundreds of thousands of copies of a few albums.

It's not as if all of them are definitive documents.

Commerce over art, once more.

It's been like that since Sony took over. The albums in the main series are selling poorly due to the amount of spin-offs they keep coming up with. I hope NOW Fitness includes some classics which didn't appear in the main series and one or two songs which will be on NOW 94

They've revealed the track list for NOW Fitness. All it is is songs from NOW 89 onwards with only one song (Rinse & Repeat) which ain't on a NOW but it will most likely be on NOW 94. Shame the track list isn't an April Fool's joke like I hoped http://www.nowmusic.com/now/now-fitness/

Hadji, do you actually buy all these spin offs?

I did laugh though that out of all the Jess Glynne tracks they had to pick from for Now Fitness, they chose Take Me Home.

Do I heck! I only buy them if it has classics on there or songs which didn't appear on the main series as opposed to just new songs. I don't see TMH by Jess Glynne on there. All I see by her is HMH on track 17

Bloody Bang Bang and Rinse & Repeat stopping Now Fitness from being exclusively tracks on Now 90, Now 91, Now 92 or Now 93!

And NOW 94 will most likely stop "Rinse & Repeat" from becoming a NOW-less song

Oh you're right, it is Hold My Hand.

In my defence, the tracklist was so poor that I wasn't paying much attention.

Oh that is such a boring track listing. Why isn't this NOW Running 2016 and a mixture of old and new songs?!

Also NOW 58 (US)'s cover and track listing has been released

That tracklisting for the US version is just

At least they allow Taylor Swift to appear whereas we don't. As for the spin-offs, they are getting lazy with what to put on them. They need to be creative

Ahh I always love these <3 I'm in Germany at the end of next month again so will try and pick up a copy.

Spirits by The Strumbellas could be quite big at some point, it's like a poppier Lumineers, so that sequencing makes sense.

Interestingly the new Now Fitness album has the BPM of each song stated on brackets on the tracklisting of the physical version. Each disc starts with the track with the slowest BPM and ends with the song with the fastest BPM, so the sequencing suddenly makes a lot more sense to me now, I just wish the tracklist was more inspired.
