My understanding is that the OCC do not delete them, records are deleted at record companies request.

Oh right. So the OCC just face the backlash of it all then? That's pretty harsh if that's the case ...

ah, well the OCC made the rule that allows record companies to delete there own records. :P

Poor Janet in the albums! That is an embarassing failure for her, makes Damita Jo look like a mega success.

suppose it doesnt really matter what it does as it's the uk and not the usa. only if it flops in the usa will it matter, and anyway this week most people aat the sales

Lionel Richie's I Call It Love is now the fifth single to enter the Top 75 on downloads only and then miss the top 40 the following week.

Well, it may have strong first week sales but I can't see it being a big seller overall there.

No they didn't. The OCC don't make many rules, if they even make any at all. they enforce them!

David Hasselhoff not Top75 on downloads.

Rather strange week, downloads over Top40 don't feature.

It wasn't released on downloads this week.

Download and CD available tomorrow, I think.

LeAnn & Brian number 48 - thought it might of scraped into to the top 40

Chart Supervisory Committee, made up of representatives of record labels and record dealers.

They make the rules, give them to the OCC who then enforce them...
