Would the pre orders count towards the singles' chart though?

No they don't. Which is the reason why my girl Ariana missed the top 5 with Break Free in the Uk... Such a sin!

Pre-orders of the album don't. But if people individually purchase the track, those sales will I think.

Ariana suffered from appearing at a time when they were still trying to figure out rules of the chart and things with how fast they were changing iirc :(

Yeah, as Jonjo said, those rules changed.

Anyway, I don't think a shorter pre-order time for the album will be a problem. I don't see them doing less than 60k for opening week, so long as they don't pull a Perfect Illusion as a lead single.

I can see them easily matching / beating 60k in the first week.

They are massive here at the moment. With the right first single and promo I see this being huge!

I've had a couple of people come into HMV asking when their new album is released and this is without any official confirmation that they are releasing, yet!

Bruno will have the biggest opening week sales of the year for an album. Especially in Q4. FFS!!!!

The week after they'll have 2nd week Bruno and 1st week Weeknd... I honestly think they'd beat Weeknd, but 2nd week Bruno might be slightly out of touch!

Here's the schedule currently...

Friday 18th November

Black - Any Colour You Like

DNCE - DNCE

Donna Summer – The Ultimate Collection

The Human League – Anthology: A Very British Synthesizer Group

Justice – Woman

Little Mix – TBA

Louisa Johnson – TBA

Metallica – Hardwired...To Self Destruct

Miranda Lambert - The Weight Of These Wings

Solange – A Seat At The Table

Friday 25th November

Kate Bush - Before The Dawn

Lissie – Live At Union Chapel

Pete Tong with The Heritage Orchestra – Classic House

Rumer – This Girl's In Love: A Bacharach & David Songbook

The week after doesn't seem to have any big releases atm! Just the usual nana xmas gift sort of artists.

Saw a tweet last night from an update account that said four songs have been officially registered with LM as performers. The titles are Shout Out To My Ex, F U, Seconds Minutes Hours and We Own The Night

The only ones from this era are SOTME and F.U. The rest are leftovers from GW, Salute and DNA.

Amazon Japan said the album will be out on the 18th of November and a limited edition with a DVD on the 23rd!
The girls have just confirmed that the new album is called Glory Days and will be available to pre-order from tomorrow. It will be release on 18 November and the Deluxe Edition will come with the tour DVD

Britney's impact!

Love the artwork.

Love the name! But that date. I know his single is seen as under performing so far (but I imagine it'll be a huge number 1 eventually) but Bruno will slaughter everyone that week. :drama:

Ah well. Here's to another high selling number 2... hopefully!
