You Me At Six have dropped to Number 3 behind Pete Tong. LM in the lead by 1.3k

Little Mix are on 15.2k, so could make 17k tomorrow, which is pretty decent for the time of year. I was thinking they'd only manage about 13/14k earlier in the week.

That's brilliant news. It would be amazing if they could carry on selling around the 15k mark for a while yet. It's chart run so far suggests it could possibly have the longevity Get Weird did which is incredible.

Wonder how many more weeks they can notch up at Number 1? Outstanding to make 5 weeks already. Clearly a high demand for them. They should release the music videos for Touch and Oops and let them do the rest of the work. Then once they've finished touring in America hit us all with No More Sad Songs for April time. Then Power for August summer hit single! Booooom

I'll be honest when their first stint at Number 1 ended I thought that would be it, so five weeks is incredible. Highest profile album release today was the xx so why not dream of a 6th week

The xx will open on at least 20k I think. They might sneak back ahead the week after though.

Number 2 and 10,000 sales behind The XX for number 1 this week.

I wonder if they can reclaim the number 1 next week? It's such a quiet week and I can see The xx being a bit front loaded. It's gonna be interesting, due to the Summer tour tickets being available on Friday and hopefully the video release of 'Touch' too!

 

But, in all honesty, it's outperformed even my expectations! 5 weeks at number 1 is crazy! Something in which One Direction (the top group/act to come from X Factor) didn't do! So it's a true blessing and any extra weeks at #1 from now will be a bonus!

I honestly thought that once the girls were knocked off Number 1 by the Rolling Stones that would be it, so five weeks is beyond my expectations
